I'm planning on joining football next year 
Height : 5 8
Weight : 182
I want to play Runningback, which i probably wont unless i get faster. Or i want to play Tight End or anything on the starting line would be fine
Workout Routine with Football Team. This isnt as accurate as i think it is but its close to it as of right now ( sets and reps and weight go up or something as we pass more weeks ) I think its called the bigger faster stronger program
we bench 3x3 squat 3x3 barbell curls 3x10 wrist rollers (the painnnn :]), we are starting dips 3x3. later on we'll get timed and tested on how many we can do in a minute or so, lunges. shoulder presses? im sure we do more things but im brain dead right now
on tuesdays we do agility drills
wednesdays . =\ . we do something called discipline. the whole team has to do pushups situps and squat jumps? and if one person messes up we start all over. last week we sstarted with 10. first you do 10 pushups than 9 than 8 than 7 and so on. if one person messes up we start over so if we were at the 10 rep set... and we were on 1 push up left and someone messes up we have to start at 10 reps again. ( this workout made me sore =] )
Next week we're suposed to start at 30 which is gonna be harddddddddd.
Thursdays are pretty much the same as mondays which is weihgt lifting
Fridays = day off
Soooo anyone with any ideas on what positions are fun to play, or how to get faster or anything that would help me on the football field please post back
. Also if anyone else has there own stories or something fun to readdd or anything like that. Also if anyone can help me pick a position on defense cuz im not too sure about the positions on defense.
b.t.w this is the offseason so we are weight training. football practicing (learning plays, etc.) starts during may through the summer.
