WOW Flamie!!!!

I wouldn't get hung up on numbers as really you dont look like you have anything left to loose and it just might be your body saying that it is done! What a transformation, you dont even look like the same person. You look so young and gorgeous now and your husband better watch out! he he he

WELL DONE and what a huge success you are!
xx

I just have to repeat what everyone else has said: WOW! You look amazing. It's hard to believe that it's the same person. Well done for reaching your goal.

Good luck with refeed. Keep us posted.

Sue

Thank you so much folks for all your wonderful compliments. To be honest, I can't even believe that's how I used to look just 7 months ago...yikes totally! I'm happy that I made the move on Cohen and have now look a whole lot healthier and yes, youthful, I must agree hahaha. When one is slim, one looks good in anything even nothing! rofl.

Today marks my final day on Phase 1 of Cohen. Wow, how time flies. I still remember 7 months ago, 23 February, when I first started. I totally doubted myself whether this programme could even work a wee little bit but this is totally not a question at all today. Tomorrow I will begin Phase 2 - the refeed. I shall update you guys how I go.

I didn't quite hit 55kg but certainly I'm starting refeed not that far off. For all you know, tomorrow I hit 55kg but whatever the case, I think my body is happy and has spoken that it has enough of phase 1 and it'll be happy to embark on phase 2. Wish me luck all!

Hi FlaMie,

Congratulations on your weight loss. You must be so happy to be now on re-feed!!!
Good luck for starting the re feed!! I cant wait to hear all about it and how you get one!

Keep us updated!!
Jim

Thank you all for your support! Cohen never fails to amaze me again and again. Today, I'm at my lightest at 54.8kg I'm so glad to have met all my targeted goal before refeed. The weight is even before my heavyweight poo poo... so glad that all things are settling nicely before refeed. 1 Sept is a wonderful day.

I shall keep track of my daily refeed plan, so be sure to continue to give me your support. :)

All the best Flamie with Phase 2!! Well done. Keep us up to date every now & then won't you, xo Cate

Yes Big sis Cate, I will most certainly do that to remain accountable on the journey. Well, first 3 days ain't too exciting except with the little quantity increase - will see how I manage those increase in terms of expanding the stomach space. Should be fine I think. Will update later.

Wow, look at that ticker now! I think your body is very happy to be going on refeed and giving you a big mental boost! Happiness shows in our bodies, that's for sure.

You have been a fantastic star over the past few months so good luck for the next 18 days and I am absolutely sure you are going to do just fine at this part also.

Okie, here I am on Day 1 of my refeed. Up to Day 3 there wouldn't be very much difference from the initial programme. Only difference is the slight quantity increase in food and the additional fruit (woohoo) which I'm going to go buy - I don't have lychee or rock melon. Haven't had them for the last 7 months. So must go and buy! Also need to buy more veges / meat to meet the increased quantity. I've not topped up my supply for this week yet, so I'll be quick about this update before returning later.

Yep, I've dropped to 54.8kg and that's my pre poo poo weight!!! How happy I am. At least I met all my planned goals before refeed. I'm one happy girl today. VERY happy in fact. I've managed to poo just now - about 75% of it and tell me about the quantity boy, it was huge! The other 25% would prolly be pretty heavy too... hahahah I'm quite sure I'm at least 100g lighter than my starting weight on refeed

Day 1: 1 September 2009 (Tuesday)
Weight: 54.8kg (Starting Weight)

Breakfast:
1. cucumber and mozarella cheese slices
2. 1 cup of tea
3. 2 pieces of Meiji biscuit

Lunch
1. Curry chicken with cabbage

Dinner
1. Spicy Kang Kong with prawns
2. 4 pieces of Meiji biscuits

Fruits
1. Pineapple
2. Apple

So far, can only down pineapple and going to try the apple. Don't think can down 2 apples today even though I love them now!

Food quantity wise not that significantly increased but they did keep me full for a longer while. I didn't really crave for anything because I was still burping from lunch 1.5 hours from dinner! So, although I smelled the sweet aroma from the confectionary when I was out in the afternoon, it wasn't as inviting as it used to.

Also, for some reasons, I'm kinda sleepy now. Coupled with the cooling weather, I think I'm gonna turn in early and have a wonderful sleep tonight. I don't know how the weight will work out tomorrow because I feel so bloated and heavy right now. *PRAY* I won't put on weight. It'll be disastrous to start off day 2 with weight increase. Anyway, I'm going to try to swallow my apple now.

Day 2 of Refeed

Day 2: 2 September 2009 (Wednesday)

2. 1 cup of tea
3. 2 pieces of Meiji biscuit

Lunch

1. Grilled Chicken with Fresh Salad (Lettuce & Cucumber)
2. Low Fat Mayonnaise
3. 1 cup of tea

Dinner

1. Spicy Prawns
2. Stir Fry Chye Sim
3. 4 pieces of Meiji biscuits (if I can down them)

Fruits

1. Mango
2. Blueberry (Yep! I found them. First time eating in my LIFE)
3. Apple (if I can down it)

Today woke up to an overnight drop of 400g to 54.4kg. I'm definitely shocked to see that. I hadn't expected a drop actually. I thought to myself I would be grateful if my weight could be the same as yesterday's. I think it could be due to 3 reasons really; a) detox massage yesterday, b) poo poo that all cleared yesterday or c) my body enjoys the little extra weight.

Strangely, today I found myself waking up super duper hungry! I could literally hear my stomach growling. GROSS, I struggled to school before I had my brekkie at 8am.

Food wise, today's increase is significantly more for veges and the protein remains the same as yesterday. Well, I'm not complaining. Just wondering if the weight will jack up tomorrow cos I'm feeling the poo again!!!

Hey successful cohenites, can someone please tell me what happens if our weight goes up by 1kg because poo refuses to be expelled?!?!?! Dr Cohen didn't quite factor that in has he?

Think of it like this - he is dealing with your body mass, not your "weight" as such. Your total fat content isn't going to change whether you poo or not. Of course, we like to be regular and like to see that reflected on the scales, but what the scales say is a little bit of an illusion on any one day. If you just concentrate on the fat cells in your body and realise they aren't suddenly "puffing up" with lipids just because the scales don't drop, or even say you weigh a bit more, it helps. Your fat cells have been starving and screaming throughout the diet, but just visualise them as now being taught to be stable on the slightly different food regime, and learning to behave themselves!
