So here it all is, I am 5'5" and weigh 240 pounds. It is beyond time to become healthy. I want to see my son GROW UP! I want to see my nephews graduate high school! I want to be able to keep up with them outside without having to lay down and catch my breath:smilielol5:!
So today is the beginning. I work a pretty sedentary job, in front of the computer 8 hours a day. Soooo the plan is this every other day a brisk 45 min walk and on the days with no walks work out on my gazelle. Watch what i eat and make sure it is more veggie and fruits than fast food, etc.
Start planning healthy meals for the day and Stick to them! I hope to be here for a long time and this is just the first (biggest) step towards that goal!:driving: I am the only one that can drive this bus to the destination that I want!
 
Hey Holly - I'm a newbie here but unfortunately not to weight loss(and gain). I am sure you will find lots of information and encouragement here.

Holly - welcome and congrats on starting your journey!

I encourage you to spend some time surfing the boards here. A lot of the members have a lot of really good information on how to reach your goals.

I work a pretty sedentary job as well - so I look forward to reading your success :)
