My Mid area

Ok, I don't want to be big and built, I would just like to loss some weight, and gain some muscle in my stomach area so I have some decent ab lines. A minor six pack would be great.

I have a very busy schedule and can only goto my gym 3 times a week. I was told that doing 30 - 40 full situps a day will help me with this issue, I wanted to know what you all suggest.

what i have heard is that situps doesnt really work that well.
if you want to loose weight you have to watch what you eat and do alot of cardio exersice. you use your abs in alot of exersices, but if you must do some kind of isolation exersice for them you could do weighted crunches.
 
You will burn some calories doing that but that is about it. Cut your body fat with some HIIT but for lifting I definately suggest a full body routine. Check the Home Grown Series at Men's Health. It is a great 3 day a week routine to use in order to cut fat and gain some muscle. You will not get big and built unless you eat like a monster, so do not let that discourage you. I only lift 3 days a week and actually do no cardio. I eat every couple hours and I stay very lean this way.
