My 'Leangains' cut

Hey thanks for your support - I appreciate it!

BTW - Your foods look yummy!!
& i love that: your "only" exercise was a 3 mile walk! What????!!! what's that about? lol. thats great exercise. yeah yeah, i know you can totally get addicted to workout.

Keep up the good work!

My pleasure Justina, thankyou for yours also, makes a big difference having people check up/encourage you!!

Thanks..I'm by no means a chef, but I enjoy cooking, and very guilty of having a phone full of food pics :D

I don't really consider my walk exercise as such, just part of my daily activity, but you're right, it's great exercise, and an even better way to clear my head after work!

Thanks again :)

Gym day :D

Broke my fast @ 12 as per usual:

- Cherry jam sandwiches on wheat x2
- Banoffee whey protein shake

Will have a banana before the Gym in an hour or so, followed by another Whey shake with instant oats.

Then, the (semi cheat) feast:

- Homemade lean Turkey mince burgers in Bagels x2
- Oven Fries
- Hagen Daz Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
- Chocotastic Pop Tarts x2

Now, all of this is within my calorie goal, and fits my Macros almost perfectly..I call it a semi cheat as it's not the most nutritional choices, but ya know, hard work deserves some rewards...right? right?!! :)

Daily Totals:

3321 cal
457g carbs
87g fat
163g protein

Got the lady round tonight also..being made to watch all the Harry Potter films..on number 6 or 7 I think...I'm sure they're great if you like that sort of thing..totally not for me..I may have fallen asleep during a few of them, but it's the thought that counts? :D

Syn.

Syn you are doing amazing!! And I had to laugh about you being made to watch all the Harry Potters - I did the same to my hubby - I love the Harry Potters :p

Also, decided to put the dark chocolate in the Banoffee-Peanut Butter 'Sludge'..now, I'm not saying it was the best decision I've ever made, but I am..that's exactly what I'm saying.

Lazy night watching 'The ABC's Of Death', gym tomorrow, followed by more pizza..this losing weight stuff is fun :D

No loss this week.

Not too concerned, will see how next week goes before worrying about changing my calories.

Might need to keep an eye on the sodium levels a bit better, definitely feel like I'm holding a bit more water than usual, however, coming off the back of a cold, this could be a contributing factor also.

New week, new goals..let's do this.

Syn.

2 days in a row of low carb really does drain me!!

Im sure it's mostly psychological, but still...

That being said, last nights dinner was amazing..Chicken breast stuffed with the leftover Wensleydale with cranberries, wrapped in bacon, with a big salad.

Will be eating this quite alot in the very near future I reckon!

Broke my fast today with some BBQ Chicken (breast), some cheese and a protein shake (Cookies and Cream ftw!!)

That leaves me with enough calories tonight to have a English brekkie :)

Grilled Bacon and sausages, fried mushrooms in garlic, poached eggs and a piece of wholewheat toast.

Also, excited to try a Cookies and Cream Whey 'Sludge'. I'm easily excited it seems.

Off out for a night of heavy drinking tomorrow for a friends B/day..it's a very rare event that I get wasted, so not worried in the slightest.

Gotta have fun once in a while..(plus a reserve of 1.5k calories to limit some of the guilt :D)

Syn.

Syn, you're like me, I think. You sound like you just LOVE food. I'm beginning to realize that I can still love food AND eat well.
Your English Brekkie was one of my Dad's favorites... he was from Birmingham. Except, he'd pour some of the sausage drippings on his eggs.

OH how I miss my English breakfast - but I am not allowed to eat pork so when I smell hubby's bacon its like a go in a trance from the smell of the bacon. :drooling: But then I remind myself why I am doing this and what benefits are there.

Enjoy the party!!!
