I have been on this journey to recover myself since March 1, 2007. Let me give you my back story.
I am a mother of 2 boys. They were both delivered by c-section, only 10 1/2 months apart. I was 117 pounds before my first pregnancy. I maxed out at 208 pounds in my 2nd pregnancy. After the c-section I went down to 185 and stayed there for almost a year. In February, my friend told me she had these workouts, Turbo Jam, that did amazing work. I decided it was my time to get myself back. On March 1st I began working out with Turbo Jam. I started watching what I was eating. I began bike riding and motivated myself back onto my skateboard. I have added Hip Hop Abs, Slim In 6, Core Rhythms, Yoga and Pilates to my workout schedules.
I have so much more energy, which I devote to my kids. They definitely take all of my extra energy, and they deserve it. They like to work out with me and cheer me on when I need that motivation. The best thing in the world to hear is "Go Mama, go Mama!" It's music to my ears.
Before working out I was in size 18-20 jeans. I am currently in size 8. I was 185 pounds and I am down to 150 now.
