My journey to feeling comfortable in my own skin

Everyone has their own starting point and their own motivation. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as it works for you as an individual. What motivates one person may reduce the motivation of another person. My motivation: My girlfriend is incredibly athletic (figure-wise) and i'm tired of being/feeling frumpy all the time. I don't just want to lose weight, I want to build tone/muscle.

So here's a bit about me...

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Height: 5ft7in

Diet plan: SlimFast and fruit/nut smoothies

Exercise plan: 4x a week gym, walking the dog once or twice a day (at least 30 minutes brisk walking)

Start Weight: 200lb

Goal Weight: 130lb

Weight to lose: 70lb

Biggest insecurity: My hips/stomach area

Something I'm happy with: My chest (boobs)


Goal: 30th January 2017

Reason for time of goal: My 22nd birthday


Targets: Take pictures every other Sunday, post weights every Sunday, post measurements on the first day of each month

Welcome back honey. You can do this. At your age it will be easier now than later. Your skin is more elastic as well. Stick with it & make permanent changes to improve your health outcomes. Welcome back! Cheers, Cate
