My Journey To A Butterfly - Journal

At 5:00 I was tempted to just go home but I knew i had to get in some mileage today. [that really really helps motivate me and I think of it less as weight loss and more as a 'journey' ;) and adventure]

I walked/ran a mile and biked 5. It was tough to even get to the 5 mark but I'm glad I got it all done.

Tomorrow morning I may go too. I'll see how I feel, my body is going to want rest very soon. :)

Tonight my mom noticed that my face is getting slimmer. Baby steps, Les, baby steps. I just gotta keep on going...

I just like the feeling when people notice you've lost weight, its great. By the looks of it seems like you getting a lot of miles done, good job! I liked you idea so much so I found my old pedometer, bought it a long time ago to see how much walking I was doing at my job, but it still works though I don't work anymore... I think I'll do something like your walking with that just to see how many steps I am doing pr hour or so when out walking....

Good morning!
Well, I must have gotten food poisoning from my dinner last night because I was up all night sick to my stomach. I had to go late into work because I only went to bed at 5 AM. Anyway, I am hoping I feel better by workout time...
 
Well, I got into work at 10 and by noon, I was feeling like I couldn't be there one second longer so I came home and my bf and I both took a nap.

Tonight we got some great news about a business we are wanting to start so to celebrate we walked 2 miles and got out and got some fresh air and were silly and goofy! Oh, and we had low fat frozen yogurt. :)

I'm feeling much better now and I'm really happy I got miles in today because I was sure I was going to have to pass on working out all together.

Tomorrow I should be back to my old self and back on the routine.
 
Yesterday was my first day back "working out" since last Friday... so I had to take it easy.

I did 1 mile treadmill
5 mile bike

I wanted to do more but I was SO wiped out :(

Later my honey and I walked to get dinner and then walked home - adding another 2 miles to my total. :)

4 hrs until my next workout!
 
So here's a recap of my weekend!

Friday night after my workout, I had an anxiety attack. It all started when I started stressing about how hard I am working to get into shape and how long it's going to take me to get there...

So I had a rough nite Friday night but woke up on Saturday and ran errands and spent the day by myself - I think I needed that. Saturday nite my boyfriends band had a gig that I went to and then I went to the local country bar with my coworkers.. and had a blast!

Yesterday we cleaned out our storage and I got rid of half of my old stuff! It's amazing how much stuff you can hord! :)

Then my mom and I went and saw Tim McGraw and Faith Hills show..

I had a nice busy weekend and I'm hoping my spirits will pick up!

I talked myself out of working out today as I was laying in bed this morning - but I packed my gym bag just in case and I'm so glad I did because now I WANT to work out!
 
I'm glad your weekend picked up! Sounds like you had a great time! I'm glad you want to work out! All your work is definately paying off!!!

seems like the weekend you posted about last was nice and good plan with having the bag packed and ready to go, maybe I should try that:)
Well, you havent been here for a week, hope to see you soon and hear about all the progress you've been up to:)
