my journey seems like the neverending story....

I'm allowed 3 fruits a day.. I guess I am going to have to spread them differently or something. No I really like it, its just been tough you know.. So did you weigh in today or when ?? do you weigh in weekly??

Here is a trick that will stop the hungry monsters from invading your body...If you can do it do an exercise for 15-20 minutes that raises your body temp to the sweating point...It kills hunger....Whatever you do dont do an exercise like swimming that lowers your core temp...you will crawl out of that pool lookin for a pizza!

GJ: thanks for stopping by. I must admit It has been extremely difficutl.. but damn all those weighing everything has really kept my mind off drinking. which is a bad habit I use to have cuz I'm 3 days sober yeaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

So today was another body bag session.. I believe it is day 9!!! So they invited me into another challenge.. I have 7 days to lose 5 lbs and I get three free sessions... Damn these sessions are expensive so hell will freeze over before I don't achieve this goal.. It kinda excites me too because I will be at the 179 lb mark.. Which wow is a huge milestone for me.. Even though it's not my lowest just being 179 makes me see the light at the end of the tunnel... Without this wonderful support system that I have here I think I would have given up a long time ago but look I am so damn proud of myself for coming along.. Soon enough I shall be 125 which is I guess my goal weight accordign to Cohen. I was happy with 130 135 but at 125 at least I will have 10 lbs to play with so I never ever let myself get this way again... It's been an amazing journey but finally I feel it's coming along... wooooooooooohooooooooooo!!! bikini by summer here I come...I am even kinda scared of how I will feel when I make it into the bikini.. I probably won't know how to handle it.. Oh well once that milestone get reached I will have to figure that out...:seeya:
 
Ivette, great news that you have started Cohen's. You get over the hunger fairly quickly. It took me about 5 days I think. I found that having yoghurt & mango or another fruit for breakfast left me feeling fuller than the other options. You can swap around the order of your meals if that helps any or is more convenient.eg Meal 1 at lunch time & meal 2 for breakfast. How many crackers are you allowed? I always try to save a serve of fruit & a serve of crackers for about an hour before each meal (or with) & then still have some in the evening when we get the mental munchies.
Another tip is to get your fruit allowance for the day, weigh it, if necessary for mango etc & make a fruit salad that you can have a little bit of any time during the day. It seems to go further that way.

Hey Ivette! Gosh it was like 9pm when you started to get hungry- I'm the same way. I'm sure it's even harder since you're on a strict diet now but maybe just go to bed if you can. I know you have things to do but whenver I get hungry in the late evening, I'll just try and get the hell to bed.

So I noticed that at this time tonight and last night I get extremely hungry.. Now that I am on such a schuedule of food and weight to eat.. I have ate all the allowable food already.. I don't know what to do.. I'm guzzling water like there is no tomorrow but I noticed this is becoming a problem.

I noticed the same thing at the beginning of my diet. I think it really takes about a week to 2 weeks for your body to really get used to eating less amounts of food.

grilled or baked chicken is the best healthy thing you can eat to feel more "full".

Good things comes to those that wait. Well done on the superbowl fast!

So tomorrow is my next body bag session and the last for this week.. I am so excited and motivated.. I can't wait too see huge drastic results but so far these mini goals have me real motivated.. Yeaaaaaaaa!!! I have been staying on track for my diet.. I really have not been deviating at all well kinda not at all. It's pretty difficult but I will succeed.. Yes I will this time I'm in it for real... I think I'm gonna work extra hard with this new challenge that Alta has started. I really think It's a good motivation factor to see where your at and to vision where we want to be...

I am reading this book called beautiful boy!!! by David Sheff It's amazing. I want to learn how to understand my sister better and where she comes from. This is a fathers journey to save his son from crystal meth. It's an amazing book really and I just ran by this quote and it got me thinking so much. The book is amazing and the son whose a crystal meth addict wrote a book as well explaining his journey and from his perspective. I haven't bought It yet but I'm trying to finish this one real fast so I can read the other... :Angel_anim:

So true!!! I wish I could protect her... It's amazing in the book trys to reveal how addiction creeps into a family and takes over.

I have mest up a little you know 6 extra shrimp. 20 more grams of cauliflower.. but regardless it's also day 4 of no alcohol and I feel energized awesome my day wakes up better and goes to sleep with a head on. I have really had time to experience more within myself.. I noticed that last year I was running away and I couldn't find an exit. Now I'm truly on the path to find myself.. I am happy, motivated, and energetic. I'm very much at peace with the person I am today and look forward to whats' in store for me February here I come...:[arty: :party: wooooooooooooohooooooooooo!!!!!!!:angelsad2:

So basically it's raining like crazy... I don't think I can doorknock but I will manage to go to my bank stand.. Yes I will.. I'm gonna go wax my eyebrows too why not... it's a freezing day.. So basically a day in my diet goes a little something like this.. This morning I had a cup of coffee black which I like always.. and 2 crackers with low fat cream cheese.. I had 1 baked apple. for lunch I am making a chicken breast soup with celery and onion and cauliflower. don't ask I'm getting creative.. all my chicken and vegetables has to be weighed to the minimal gram and for dinner I'm making a piece of tilapia with a salad... and i have 2 more crackers I can fit into somewhere and 2 fruits.. So at this rate based on this diet I think I will suceed I just can't cheat.....:party:
