Well weight is today cause I missed yesterday :( I am up one pound....196.2 could be the feta last night with all that salt....hoping to see better results next week!

here is the menue today

Fresh Asian Cucumber Treat with Chicken Breast

I am not feeling well at all so I will be drinking lot of cinnamon honney lemon juice and hot water...find this works usually better then store bought sirops and pills and also they have less of a negative effect on my immune system! This will add to calories but I can't feel like this for ever i gotta jump back on that threadmill I have been doing some toning exercise but i need the walking slash running i was running 3min at 5 min interval I was supposed to cut my intervals to 4 mins this week I hope I won't have to regress too much! I have to drive my daughter to school I will be back later to catch on other diaries!
 
Your vegetable meddley sounds so good and simple!!! I think I ll put it on my menu for the coming week!! Love picking up new ideas!!

BTW - about the health store - I live pretty far from one too...I do some shopping online sometimes - they are the same price & I have free (membership) delivery with amazon.

I wish I could day I was good and true to my programe all weekend end but that would be a lie....I was good all day friday ate according to plan then a few friends showed up with a bottle of wine and we sat and laughed while drinking it.....also snacked cause it was a big bottle for two people didn't want the hang over the next day......so I went over board but I kept my choices healthy no process crap not chips or anything like that I ate my chesse with veggie sticks and hummus and took a 2 ounces of cheese 1 tbsp of hummus and then I didn't count the calories and I had 1 handle full of home made hot aired pop corn no butter not salt!

drank coffee and water all weekend mostly water so it wasn't a great weekend food wise but also since I was very stressed with being sick and being stuck inside and the kids going nuts I did better then i tought I would!

That home made broccolie creme sounds good!! I dont know why I am craving something like that! We are supposed to have warm weather now :)

Ok taking a few min to post this!!! Making the healthy changes for my self is hard....making it when kids are envolve so so hard! Today I am so proud of my babies!!!! When I was making my daughters lunch she ask if I could add some celery sticks and laughing cow cheese instead of the craker and fake process yellow thing they call cheese I was so proud she is actually listening to me when I talk :) My son also surprised me for weeks now when I make him a sandwich for lunch I always add some veggies like carrots and celery or cucumber of brocolie or raw peppers just so we get some veggies into him and usually it take a 20 min argument for him to eat them....today he jump on that red pepper and cucumbers and ate them first also for lunch wednesday he can have pudding but he chose watermelon instead!!!! So happy that they are joining me on eating healthy.....They even are joining me in drinking more water....there had been no pop or juice in my home for the last 2 weeks they are drinking milk at meal times and water in between!!! I had to share the news!

This is really so great Veronique! Keep up the good work. Glad to see you back and I think it is great that your children are joining in with you :)

Hello I am not gone still on the wagon semi sort of.....I haven't gain I haven't lost any weight.....and the only workouts I have been doing is up and down the stairs with baskets full on laundry! The reason I haven't been online much is that I was extremely busy, and I had to send out my laptop for repairs....it overheats and crashes even when I am just typing something up like updating my resume. Frustrading this week we had pediatricians appointments, eye doctor appointment, a visit at the school since my son will be starting pre K next September and I have to go at my old job and get a file in order to complete a 40 hours contract for them, and next week we have hearing test for both kids!!! Good thing I am in between job cause no boss would allow me all this time off. and those phone calls.....but at least things are moving forward...I may also have found a job, I had the interview a few weeks back they called me again to ask me what my salary expections where I told them the lowest I am willing to go and I am waitting to see if they will play ball or not,,,,I can't go any lower cause I have to pay 1000$ per month in daycare this summer while school is out! In other news I have been eating somewhat healthy I did have some pasta one night and Pizza last weekend but I kept eating real foods and since I didn't have access to my PINK website I kind of didn't finish phase one and well now it is TOM so I am not going to start until next monday I had 5 days left and I will start from there I dont want to redo the whole 14 days phases two is the one where you start loosing the most anyways cause that is where the workout begins! I even tried Salmon last week ...not big fan of fish but I baked it with home made pesto sauce it was good the texture I have a hard time with I will try to do this dish every couple weeks get use to it! If anyone can recomend other fishes to eat that don't tast or smell to fishy let me know! I have lots to do and would like to catch up with some diaries in the mean time! I will be back on here tommorow with my menus!
 
I recommend Tilapia! Great tasting fish!! & i only remember that it smells good!!
That salmon with pesto sounds good too!

So far I haven't heard from the job but I had the interview almost a month ago and just heard from them, the job sounds interesting but it is only until the fall it is at a golf club, they close in the winter it would be fun to be in charge of events planning and their web page something new to had to my resume, plus I would get to meet a lot of people, but at the same time spending the summer with the kids would be nice too so what ever is meant to be will happen, I am ok with both options! I will have to try Tilapia if I can find it around here I refuse to buy anything fishwose that isn't fresh no frozen fish for me. Well the kids at their eyes check and they got perfect vision! next week we will test the hearing and I have another meeting with a placement agency, wich is cool but anything they give me I would have at least 1 hour to and from work i was trying to not have annymore. Life is life! I weighted myself this morning 196.0 and it's TOM so not too bad after not being on the wagon not even a full pound gained and i am retaining water like crazy my wedding bands are so tight!

Hey maybe you can stop by your local fishmonger (or the one at your grocery store) & asked them about fish - i usually do that when I go to a new place. They are usually very good at telling you about different types of fish. :)
The golf club job does sound interesting. I hope it works out the best for you!!

Hey Justina thank you for stoping by! Locally we have this tiny grocery store that sometimes carries salmon, not mush else in fresh fish but next monday I have an interview in the city so I will stop at their local store and see what I can find! I miss living in the city but at the same time I prefer raising my kids here, eventually we will move back to the town where my husband grew up they have more there not much more but still an improvement!
Today I brought my son to school for the big tour of the school....seems like he was born yesterday and now he is getting ready to go to school! In May he will even go for three half days....how fast time goes! I no longer have babies lol

I have the same issue getting fresh fish. I'm six hours from the nearest ocean and almost every piece of fish I can get has been frozen at least once.

Hey Sunday and I am on here.....I decided to take a break from my exesive cleaning I am redoing the kids bedrooms puting block with blocks and baribies with barbies making sure no cookies or candies are hiden in the toy box before the bugs thaw out! next week will be super busy...I have a data entry contract and only like 10 days or do it about 40 hours of work but when it is done from home with a four year old present,,,,,a bit more chalenging! Also this week we have to get shots (not the fun kind ) done and hearing tests! I have a meeting with an employement agency,,,,so busy busy busy....also now that my lungs are cleared out I have to start the threadmill again!

Yesterday diner turned out to be a total cheat meal! Poutine all homeade with chicken nugets (home made baked kind) not the best but I have been good all week and I actually skiped lunch! so calorie wise it should balanced out( don't really count calories I try to concentrate on what the food contains then how many calories, none of those 100 cal packages snacks)

Brand new week! I was supposed to have an interview today but it got cancelled! that is ok gives me more time to work on my contract I can barely work on it....my son wants all my attention he is still feeling yucky he wants to be cuddled and kissed and hug...what mom can resist that! Good morning ! So I am a full day of working on my contact:) my mom came to pick up my son last night until either tonight or tommorow morning! that will let me concentrate more on the work, I tought I could do it with the kids but I had forgotten how much details go in this....oh well! I did a lot on it already and it still kind of early! I have to say it is so nice outside I wish my son was here so that we could go to the park....i will probably go for a walk at lunch time too nice to stay inside all day!!! That is the upside of working from home! How do people get work done when they work like this all the time....so many distraction, the dog wants to play, the laundry is there waitting for me so are the dishes.....but no I have to keep working on this!
