My journey begins.....in 10 days lol =)

Ok so I'm almost home from my trip to China (4 more days to be exact) and I'm going to start bulking =). In China I have just been doing pushups, dips, and walking up the stairs slowly.

I already composed a workout routine with the help of you guys and the stickies and I have been weight lifting on and off for like 3 years just never took it seriously and ate like crap =)

I will be posting progress pics every month or so so I can see how my bulk is going. I had one question though. I will be coming back to China about every 6 -10 weeks and I will be staying about 1 week (traveling time included). So basically what should I do for that week that I'm out and how will it affect my progress?

I'm 6,2 and currently 155  lol
My goal is to be 190-200 lean

Here are some before pics and I know I have a lot of work to do lol =P

Good luck. You look heavier than 150#, but pics are deceiving.

yes they are lol but yea a lot of people think im like 170 or something i tell them im 155 and they are like wtf you lie. So i guess thats a good thing? kinda lol

yeah man, no ****! That is a great bicep for such a skinny dude... or anyone.

Lol through out high school the whole thing was who had the nicest arms cause thats the easiest thing to show off so i spent my 9th-11th grade years doing 80% bicep workouts lol =P, My friends make fun of me cause my arms aren't proportionate to my body lol:eek: Thanks tho =)

Oh yea and question?.....
For the bicep pic you see how the tricep is kinda like flat (like by my armpit) is that normal or lack of tricep development?

Ok so today I started my lifting and got through bench, squats and then on my deadlift when i was doing them i got a really sharp pain in my heart. Could that be from the greasy Chinese food for 2 months? I got kind of concerned because it still would hurt when i was doing my rows and lat pulls and its not like the muscle its like my heart, any ideas? Im thinking its the bad diet in China cause all of there food is really greasy and it happened to me once in China just doing pushups.

i know this is kinda scientific but we dont have good pain receptors in our organs or smooth muscles mostly in skeletal muscle so most of the time pain gets percieved in different places than where its actually taking place, especially if your feeling it in the heart region (ie when someone gets a heart attack they feel it down there left arm) so your probably pulling an internal smooth muscle by what ever excercise your doin, do you stretch before and after and i dont mean just touch your toes for like 10 sec? thats normally the reason for things like that or improper form since you mentioned dead lifts and pushups this seems like a possibility to, alot of people dont have the right form for deadlifts and if you are straining your back during pushups by wrong form (caused by lack of core development) the nerves in your spine could send pain anywhere!!!

Well my push ups my form is very good and its never happened to me before when I used to dead lift, power clean and do combination lifts. Its just weird because When it happened in China while I was doing push ups and not even at a hard intensity just good form and controlled. it happened after I finished and it stayed there for like 4-6 days. Just wondering I worked out through it for the second and third set but when I got to my lat pulls the pain was just to much so i had to stop

Just went to the doctors today got an x-ray of my lungs and I either have tuberculosis or some C word either way I have to stop lifting for about a week (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) lol but yea after that week or so i'll be back 100% =)
