I have an introduction thread on here that says a little about me and what i am looking to do here.
Basically- I lost 50-60 lbs between 2008 and 2009, maintained til 2010 and the bottom dropped out in 2011. I am now close to the exact weight I was in 2008 and am starting over.
I know what happened- well to an extent- to get me back here. One thing was that I got cocky. I though I knew it all and could eat bad for a stretch and the run for a bit and it would go away. Cocky is no good for me.
I lost my job for a stretch- that cause an issue with maintenance.
I have a 3 year old- that causes problems with time
All this is correctable as long as I am aware of all of it and work to overcome it.
I know my weakness is food. I. Love. Food. All food. Healthy food, bad food, fried, baked, sauteed, whatever. I love it. I need to relearn portions and control- I have lost all that.
Short term goals- 10 lbs lost by 1/31/12
9 minute miles by 1/31/12
Long term goals- 50 lbs lost by 6/11/12- my 38th birthday
1/2 marathon in 2:00 by 6/3/12- the day my YMCA has their race
I was able to do the above at one time- I will dive into how far i have dropped in later days as I get more frustrated at everything I cannot do- and I want to do it again.
Anyway
I am not the worlds most interesting person- for that i apologize in advance. If i offend you I am sorry. I do not offend easily so do not be too concerned about that.
Today is my 'official' start- 12/27/11.
I packed a bag and am planning on going to the Y after work. Ellipt and some WT if the High School kids aren't crowding me out. Worst case 45 min of ellipt.
