see thats my problem, now that i have lost most of my weight(i still have a little fat that im working on) im not sure what i want to do next, i really want to build some solid muscle but im afraid of eating more! i guess its just in my head now that if i overeat i will gain all my fat back, but im not sure. My ideal body would be a clean cut body, i don't just want to be skin and bones. I'm not sure where to start, but i need to eventually stop dieting. lol

I'd diet down until you reach a level of leanness that you're comfortable with. From there, jump back up to maintenance intake for a couple of weeks and let things settle. From there, you can slowly introduce a caloric surplus and couple this with a nicely constructed resistance training program.

I wouldn't fret about gaining all your fat back.

It's not like it will happen overnight. The idea is to monitor things. Take measurements and pictures. It won't be hard to tell if your calories are off and you're gaining too much fat.

Mind though, that when 'bulking' you will gain some fat. It's the nature of the beast.

If you want more muscle, you must be willing to accept some fat gain.

Thanks for the help Steve!

I will probably ask you some more questions as soon as im down to a lean im comfortable with, i appreciate it though. I really want a body i can show off, and i will just have to commit myself to working towards that.

Well I'm not hard to find :p

Good luck with the remainder of your pursuit to leanness.

Dude awsome progress. It good to see someone else who is young taking charge and changing there eating habits and exercising more. Inspiring dude truely it is.

Too adorable... you look fabulous. :D Good luck with the remainder of your weight loss/ bulking/ whatever else you plan on doing weight wise. haha

PS You look like the kid from
Transformers. (Yes, I'm a nerd. HA!)
Too cute.

hahaha, Rob Dyrdek is new for me, but i have been told i look like the kid from transformers! thanks though, hahaha

hey trevor! congratulations! You look great!

You can now serve as my inspiration. I am also rather young, and I love knowing that other young "college-age" people are on here! If you can lose 90 pounds I sure as hell can lose 15!

ya, its hard being in school and losing weight! especially when you can eat 12829384 calories with 5 bucks at mcdonalds!

anyways good luck, im cheering for ya

wow how long did itt take and how did you do it?

it took me about a year, give or take, but i really started losing a good amount right after new years!

i really did it by cutting my caloric intake by 500 and exercising, and i only drank water and sometimes tea. I used to think i couldn't live without soda, but now its so sweet that i hate it!

Yeah I use to be addicted to soda and now I hate the taste, and the smell of soda makes me sick to my stomach. Man like i said before inspring total motivation because i'm in school too and it hard balancing all these things and too see someone do it like you man lol. :)
