Well here is a little bit on me:

I grew up a heavy set teenager, normally around an 18 from Highschool through college.

This was takin 5 years ago. Age 26 and in a size 16/14 pants weight 160. For my height i was told this was a good goal to shoot for so this is my GOAL Picture!

I got this way by sticking drugs up my nose. And the first time i told someone this was my goal picture, they said how can you get there without drugs...And i shurgged and explained...I can do anythng without them.

Now I'm down to 218 today, WOOT And although i have a long way to go here is me now:

As you can see, and most have read from my hello post, My thighs and my butt are my trouble spots and now with the support of this forum as well as another I have got some ideas on how to get those area.s
Anywho...
I have a cruise in April, my first one. And it would be FANTASIC to be comfortable in my bathing suit for the trip. So by April 2007 I would like to be under 200 lbs. I would like to be 180 by April. However I am taking baby steps with my goals, as the more difficult they are the more i seem to stray from my wants. My total goal is 160 by December 2008, and i would also like to be able to do the splits :p he he Since I've never been able to do them before. HE HE

Thanks for all the support, its great to have people to discuss this with, who can assist, advise, and provide the hand i need and haven't had.
 
You are a beautiful girl in all these photos. You can already see the changes from high weight to current. Great job. Can't wait for updates.
 
Hey Carrie.

First...Great job so far! second...I happned to stumble upon this site today just looking around for some different tips. I recently hit a plateau after loosing 40 lbs, and was looking for ways to get over it. Anyway, I saw your post and noticed you live about 15 minutes away from me. And I thought to myself "wouldn't it be cool to have a weight loss buddy who was actually motivated?"

At the moment my excersice routine consists of weights 3 days a week, stationary bike 3 days a week and a 4 mile walk everyday. My roommate usually joins me on the walk, but sometimes her schedule doesnt allow it, or she doesnt feel like it. (not to mention she's always cooking up the most heavenly smelling food that I can't eat....but thats another story ;) )

back on track here :) if you're interested in a workout/motivation buddy, let me know, and we can swap e-mails.

Thanks guys... I've been down all day today due to some work crap...good thing i only brought carrots and fruit to munch on! he he Otherwise I'd so have cheated.. Don't ya hate that!
 
Don't you hate it when the scale doesn't move but your clothes are looser? Its driving me NUTS this week!

Well I have a HUGE smile on my face today. Although I'm not in the best of moods i talked myself into going to the gym for lunch (like i usually do). Got there and wieghed myself. 9lbs gone. :=) I think the rest of the day will be MUCH better!

u doing great! and well done for not using to stay thin, i know the temptation but its awesome uve choosen to stay straight. your gonna b so much happier and healthier this way, and u look awesome. keep it up :)
