Hey thanks for the support guys.

I've calmed down a lot since my last post. It's true that I don't know what is going on her life. So I'm not going to jump to conclusions she's specifically avoiding me. I'm going to contact her tonight and offer my support if she needs it, let her know that if she needs some space that's okay too.

I think I just had the loneliness and sadness of the last 3 months of my time away from home surface. I feel better than I did last night/this morning but I'm still a little down. I really need to learn to deal with my emotions a little better. They really took hold of me, need to keep a cool head.

I miss her a lot.
 
I hope you channel your frustration in a positive way...you have done so well...relationships never get easy..I hope you get some answers :)
 
Day 51

Today's Weight: Slept in... didn't get a chance to check

Yesterday's Diet:
Breakfast: A smoothie and a muffin

Lunch: The usual sandwich with mayo, mustard and lettuce. Along with another sandwich of PB+J a banana and some strawberries.

Dinner: Had a dish consisting of rice, ground beef and cabbage, as well as a bowl of cereal.

Yesterday's Workout: Well I mentioned it yesterday but I went to the gym and did my bicep and shoulder workout. When I began my cardio I felt sick to my stomach like I was going to puke, I think it was lack of sleep that caused that. Anyways, didn't do any cardio which is bad. And I slept in today so I didn't get in the gym this morning. I'm going to go after work though.

I sent my girlfriend a very supportive text, basically saying that I don't know what's wrong but that I'm here for her if she needs me and that if she needs some space that would be okay as well. She replied immediately saying 'you're great' and that's all.. haven't heard from her since then. I'm just going to be patient and let her contact me when she's ready. It's been a little tough on me, but I think I'll be okay. I'll be home in less than 6 weeks, so that's something to look forward to.

Day 52

Today's Weight: 176.4

Yesterday's Diet:

Breakfast: Didn't eat breakfast :O

Lunch: Went to a fast food greek place, wasn't horribly bad for me at least. Had 3 chicken breasts, with some roasted potatoes, a small salad and a bun.

I also had a snack of a muffin and a bagel with cream cheese.

Dinner: Bowl of cereal

Yesterday's Workout: Slept in, didn't go to the gym in the morning. I decided not to go to the gym after work because of the number of chores I had to do. I will go to the gym after work today though!

As far as the girlfriend goes... we didn't contact each other at all yesterday. She did however send me a link to a funny video last night, while I was asleep. I don't even know what to make of it. Typically she sends me these types of things regularly but after not talking for 2 days sending me a video without a message of any kind was really random. I don't know what she wants. We'll see after today, I'll wait for her to contact me again.
 
Day 53

Today's Weight: 176.4

Yesterday's Diet:

Breakfast: Fruit smoothie, consisting of a banana chopped strawberries and cherries, some blueberries and some fruit juice.

Lunch: Large salad, some cherries, a muffin and some juice.

Dinner: Some carrots to snack on, a small bowl of chili, the rest of my fruit smoothie, and a toast with PB+J.

Yesterday's Workout: Went to the gym after work and did my back workout. Was a good one. Then ran for 23 minutes, did 2.5 miles. Overall a good workout.

I'm actually pretty surprised to see my weight stay the same, thought it would go down. Eh that's okay, my body is almost looking the way I want it to. Need to burn a little more fat and I'll be golden!

I guess I'll give an update on the girlfriend too, mostly because I need to let it out. So last night we talked from 11pm till 4:30am. There were some good parts of the conversation and some not so good parts, we did say goodnight on a good part at least. We talked about how she's been feeling, and she told me that most of the time she just doesn't miss me, which worries both of us. She thinks I'm quite the catch but trouble from our past makes her very hesitant. I miss her tons, but I feel like she's changed from the girl I fell in love with. That scares me a lot. Perhaps this is us just growing and growing apart. It's very hard to judge being 2000 km away.

I don't believe we'll break up before I return home(in 6 weeks). I think both of us want to see how we are when we're together again. Last night there were times where it felt like normal, we were talking, laughing, enjoying talking to one another. I told her I needed to sleep but she wouldn't let me go, which is a good sign I guess :p. She sends the most mixed signals in the world. First she says she doesn't miss me, but then she doesn't let me go to sleep because she wants to talk(and mostly just chit chat).

Well I think I have to prepare for both sides of the coin. Best case scenario, I return home and within a week we're comfortable and happy with each other again. Worst case scenario, I get home and either she's changed so much I don't want to be with her, or she realizes that I'm just not that special to her anymore and we break up.

I actually hope that one of these situations happens because sitting on the fence, having my heart exposed, waiting for her to decide what she wants to do with it is very hard.

My brother believes I'm 'beating a dead horse' and I see where he's coming from. Sometimes it really feels like we're done, but there are times where it feels like we're back on cloud 9. It's those times that really keep me hopeful. I hope I'm not blind to the fact that it really is over and I can't do anything about it.

Anyways, we had a nice talk and I hope that maybe it sparks something out of her... We'll see. I'll let you know how it goes!
 
Hmm...I can see how that would be confusing to you. I wouldn't say your beating a dead horse though. It seems like you just want an answer, so you can accept whatever happens and move forward. I don't think anyone could blame you for wanting that. I hope it works out the way that you want it to. Oh and good job with your food. Looks great! :)
 
Day 54, 55, 56 - Weekend Update

Today's Weight: Approx 175.5 didn't use my normal scale, used the non electronic one at the gym so that's an estimate.

Weekend Diet: Not great. Well... the meals I had were very good. But the few snack I had were not that great. I kept my body in mind, so I ate in control. It was far from a binge, but I guess a cheat weekend. I think as long as keep strong during the week then the weekends I can enjoy myself a little bit. It's been working pretty well so far I guess.

Workout: Well I went canoeing, played golf, and went skiing a couple of times so I got some exercise but no real workout. Went to the gym this morning, oh yeah benched 155, 20 away from my goal of benching my own body weight. I believe I'll be able to accomplish it. Did my chest and tri workout today with 20 minutes on a bike. The bike uses completely different muscles compared to running, so even though my cardio is pretty good it was really tough at times.

Anyways, I didn't get much sleep at all these past few days. The weekends at the cottage are meant to recharge you, but the girlfriend had me up to all hours of the night talking to her. Not that I opposed that by any means :p. Just now I'm pretty sleepy. I reckon I'll have a nap when I get home tonight. The girlfriend and I are pretty good, she actually said she missed me on Sunday which was good and we've been having fun just talking to each other online which helps.

Day 57

Today's Weight: 174.8

Yesterday's Diet:

Breakfast: Banana, 1/2 PB+J sandwich and a muffin

Lunch: Turkey, lettuce, mayo, mustard sandwich, 1/2 PB+J sandwich, some cherries, some juice and some carrots.

Dinner: Piece of meatloaf, some mashed potatoes(nothing added), broccoli, and a mini salad.

Workout: Went to the gym at lunch. Only had an hour so I did my shoulder/bicep workout as fast as I could. It was actually a great bicep workout. Also did some ab workouts to finish it off, no time for cardio today.

174 awww yeah, don't need to go lower than this. I'm happy like this. Well I wanna burn a little more belly fat... so I don't know :p maybe I will go lower.

Good talk with girlfriend last night, we're talking a lot now which is good. I feel like things are getting closer to where they were. She still doesn't really show any affection, although she did say I looked very handsome last night :).

My emotions are on a bit of a roller coaster, really starting to effect all aspects of my life. Got a little bit on an anxiety attack yesterday but it could have been caused by lack of sleep and too much caffeine.

Day 58

Today's Weight: 178.4 :O

Yesterday's Diet:
Breakfast: Banana and a muffin

Lunch: Bun with turkey, lettuce, mayo and mustard. 1/2 PB+J sandwich, cherries, and some juice.

There were a lot of snacks because we had a conference in our office today, so I snacked on a little bit of pasteries. It was also our secrateries birthday so I had a piece of ice cream cake. Not good!

Dinner: Minute steak, mashed potatoes and some brocoli.

Went to see Harry Potter last night, had some popcorn where is why I feel I gained so much, as well as all that other crap. Ugh, we'll see how the scales look like tomorrow!

Workout: Went to the gym, did my back and leg workout. I did 320 pound leg press, aww yeah 30 away from my goal! :D

I don't think I'll be able to make my 10 pull up goal, it's so hard :(. I'm too tall! :(

Day 59

Today's Weight: 178 Approx... once again on the scale at the gym

Yesterday's Diet:

Breakfast: Banana and two muffins.

Lunch: 2 buns with turkey, lettuce, mayo and mustard, some grapes, some juice and some carrots.

Dinner: Some chicken, mashed potatoes(nothing added), some carrots, and a greek salad. Had some popcorn as a snack too.

Went to see Hairspray last night, on stage. Was pretty good I guess. Had some popcorn at the theatre. My weight is high! Gotta stop snacking on such sodium high products!

Workout: Went to the gym this morning, did my chest and tricep workout. Then went for a 20 minute run. Doing 155 on the bench pretty well, 20 pounds away from my goal! Will kick it up to 165 next time I go.

I've been working out a lot but I have let my diet go a little bit. Snacking here and there at work, gotta buckle down.
 
Day 60 Wow 2 months!

Today's Weight: Didn't get a chance to measure this morning, will measure at lunch.

Yesterday's Diet:

Breakfast: Banana, muffin, juice

Lunch: A Footlong Subway Sandwich, with some veggies from work.

Dinner: Piece of pork, potatoes, beans, caesar salad.

Workout: Didn't get my workout in yet, going to go at lunch. I'll probably do a ab workout and then do a lot of cardio.

Hope everyone is doing well. Quick update, the girlfriend and I are doing pretty good now. She's texting me more often now which feels good.
 
Aww, that's great about you and your girlfriend. :) Also, Subway sounds so good now...lol. I might just get that for lunch.
 
Thanks :), and yeah Subway was gooooood. Spicy Italien mmm, I checked out the nutritional information and it's not as healthy as I thought it was. The 6" has 520 cals. and 1720mg of Sodium!!!!! I had a footlong :'(... whatever it's over and done with. I'll work it off this afternoon!
 
Day 61, 62, 63

Today's Weight: 179.4 Shit!

Weekend Diet:

I didn't think I was doing that bad! I've been a little lax with my diet. I don't refuse food too often anymore. I gotta stop eating desserts! Ugh, can't let that weight creep up on me again!

Workout:

I usually don't go for a workout on the weekend but I was restless on Sunday so I did a small run and some push ups and situps.

Going to the gym at lunch today!
 
Day 64 and 65


Weight: 176.4 and 175.8 respectively


Diet: I was very good with my diet. Really didn't like seeing that 179, so I buckled down and got back down :p


Workout: Went for 2 really good workouts. First shoulders and bi's workout with a good 20 minute bike ride. Went really hard on the bike was absolutely drenched after which was great.

Then yesterday I did my legs and back workout. I actually did 3 pull ups without assistance which I'm so proud of. Haven't done a pull up in 2 years, felt great. I deadlifted 185 and did squats for the first time in my life. Did 185 on those too. I leg pressed 360 too, which surpasses my goal! :D


Anyways I remember I posted some goal for August 29th but I can't find them so I'll repost them


Bench Goal: My body weight- 175 - Current 155

Dead Lift Goal: My body weight - 175 Broken! New record: 185

Squat Goal: 200 - Current: 185

Leg Press Goal: 2x My weight- 350 Broken! New record: 360

Pull Ups Goal: 10- Current: 3


I think I'll be able to reach these :)

Today's Weight: 176.4


Yesterday's Diet:


Breakfast: Muffin, fruit and yogurt


Lunch: Potatoes, meatloaf and steamed broccoli with some raw carrots and some grapes.


Dinner: Potatoes, carrots, small steak, salad.


Workout: Didn't get a workout in yesterday, was going to but my back was a bit too sore. Going to go today.
