My diet Diary (Very imaginative title! :D)

Hi Pinky,

Just checking in on you to see how you're doing. I think you are doing really well with your food choices. I still think your calories are too low. I think aside from the pizza and popcorn day, you got maybe 1000cals a day. That is really low, and you aren't doing your metabolism any favors by eating so low. Also, it's really hard to get all the nutrition your body needs with so few calories. I don't mean to get on your case, I just want you to lose the weight and keep it off.

Granola bars are great things to stick in your handbag, so you have something to eat when you're on the run. I also like to buy these pre-packaged fresh veggies (broccoli and cauliflower) that you poke a hole in and nuke for a few minutes. Instant steamed veggies--healthy and easy.

Hey guys... thanks for the advice.. Sorry i haven't been here for a bit... went without a computer for a few days!! Am not having a good weekend thats for sure but am getting back on the wagon tomorrow. Can't say anymore coz i got to run but will be back soon. x x

Thanks MissJellyBelly... i sure do know what its like... been there numerous times! Although im not going to let it happen this time... this weight is going to stay off if it kills me! *looks determined*

So anyway... ive had to change my ticker to pretty much back to where i started. Had an awful weekend where i was stuck in the car for pretty much all of it, travelling across the country and back. Had to go to Scotland to take my sister to university, which was about a 10 hour drive there and then the same back... we did it over 3 days though so it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been... however... I ate really really badly... lots of junk food from the garage because it was easy and quick. *sigh*

But... today was a new day and a new start. Just started a new 'job' which is apple picking on the local farm. I'm doing that for 3 days and then back to my waitressing job... it's basically something that's filling in my days that i would normally stay stuck at home!

Breakfast:
Slice of white toast with butter

Lunch:
Doritos, 2 mini packets of rasians, a ham, tomoto and salad sandwich, an apple and a banana

Dinner:
Tuna steak with salad, green beans, cabbage and carrots.
Avacado, onion and tomoto salsa (home made... i love staying with my mum!! :) )

Drinks:
1lt of orange squash
1lt of coffee

Exercise:
from 8am-4pm (with roughly an hours break throughout the day) Apple picking!


It was pouring with rain at 8am until 11am... i was NOT impressed!

We all have times like that. As long as you get back to eating healthy (and it sounds like you are) you'll be fine.

Apple picking sounds fun by the way!
 
ahhh fun is not the word for it... Today it couldnt decide wether it wanted to be dry or wet... so id get soaked by the rain, dry off and then get soaked once again! But i managed to pick more bins then yesterday so im a bit happier.

Breakfast:
Bowl of shreddies with semi skimmed milk

Lunch:
An Apple, A banana, ham and salad sandwich, 2 mini boxes of raisians, bag of pretzels, a bounty bar.

Dinner:
Sausage cassarole with Salad

Snacks:
chocolate hobnob flapjack

I had a moment of weakness whilst at the petrol station.... what was annoying was the fact i didn't completely enjoy it! lol

Drinks:
1lt of orange squash
1lt of coffee
1 cup of tea

Exercise:
same as yesterday

:( So i woke up this morning and my back was absolutly killing me... I think i overdid it with the apple picking yesterday. Anyways i got out of bed and was prepared to just get on with it... but i could hardly move! I was actually a little irritated because i hate leaving a job half done... But i crawled back into bed...

Breakfast:
porridge oats, orange juice and natrual yoghurt (all mixed together... its actually quite nice! )
 
the last couple of days have been a nightmare... i'm back at my old job and they seem to be making me work as hard as possible! I did 30 and a half hours over friday-sunday alone! I've not put on any weight but at the same time i've not lost much either... it's very frustrating...

I have to rush off back to work now... so will update this when i get home later. x
