Hi, my name is Ian, I have tried everything short of this. I am going to report my weight and daily calories here.
Any tips are appreciated.

For me(and a lot of other people here), being accountable to this forum is the only thing that keeps me on track. There are a lot of great people here and plenty of support to go around. Good luck and welcome to the forum!

Hi Ian, Welcome to the forum. It would help us get to know you a little & if you share a bit more about yourself. It doesn't have to be a tell all & you don't have to share anything at all, but would help establish some rapport within the forum & then support should follow. Cheers, Cate.
Welcome to the forum and good luck on your journey! The weight usually comes off quickly in the beginning, especially if you have a fair amount to lose. Consistency will see you through to your long term goal. Just make it a lifestyle change not a temporary change or you'll gain it all back, like this girl . Was <200 just over a year ago. Slow and steady wins the race!
Hey everyone!
So i am making my official goal to get down to 200.
I weighed in this morning at 268.9. Which putting it in context is pretty good considering the 2 lbs coming off in one day is often temporary.
Hi everyone, weighed in this morning the same weight as the day before. Which is pretty good, I felt like I might have lost track(pizza) but I moved rocks on the job yesterday so that saved me. Mistake acknowledged, won't happen again.
Your (and everyone else's) weight will fluctuate from day to day, due to water retention and other various factors. Nothing wrong with weighing yourself daily if you want to, but it may be more helpful to have a weigh day once a week to track your progress.
