My diary

Okay back to my diet, I have cut my calorie count down between 600-1000, today was a lower calorie day..
Yogurt - 150
Salad and Wheat chicken breast wrap- 120
Burrito(beef and wheat wrap)-360
Its been a water day for me..

Last two days has been a higher calorie count for me thou because of the ON the GO but i have been trying to manage it while i am out.. My days usually consists of the lower calorie count because of the cabbage but I have had it pointed out by some very gracious users to use protiens to control my blood sugar, which it has and i am very greatful for the advice.. Roast beef is out of the question thou because that didn't settle right with me..

As far as the seperate meals for the kids, they need a higher calorie count because they are under weight, Wic wasn't happy with my sons weight so they had me put him on a 2500 calorie count and my doctor ran a battery of tests.. I don't make them unhealthy meals, they eat what we eat but they get the sour cream, cheese and juices with their meals.. I make cabbage soup for us and they get baked chicken, cabbage and pasta.. I am trying to find a healthy snack chip for the kids for snacking threw the day..

OhHhH on a good note my husband weighed himself after a week and he lost 7 pounds.. Okay don't have kittens on me, he keeps a way higher calorie count because of his work schedule he has probably a 1500 calorie count but no sugars.. He eats his cobb salad during the afternoon or chicken ceaser, his yogurt for breakfast and then he has his cabbage soup with a chicken wrap for supper..

I cant get on a scale yet i'll be sick with myself.. Thats why I love posting here, I can vent the struggles of losing this weight and admire those who have been doing this longer then I have and also those who are just starting..

I'm going to try and post more frequently threw out the day but these kids don't let me think for 4 minutes..

Here is one of my major problems- I eat at the bars we shoot pool at, bar food is nasty-nasty if anyone has ever eaten at a bar before.. We start at 6pm and go up to 1am, we usually grab dinner at the bar we are at that night.. So trying to tell them to hold the fat is like telling KFC to hold the grease.. So ill work that one out because our play offs have one more week and then we are on a break for a few weeks.. Huggs to all my new friends its time to shower the munchkins and get them ready for bed..

LOL I'll get there i promise, my matches in pool usually last about 45 minutes, I run around the table like a crazed person, atlas thats not good enough and I know it.. I wanna start slowly and get threw this "I feel like I am starving because I can't eat chips thing", I wanna eventually jog again but walking comes first..
 
I swear going threw sugar withdrawls is probably harder then going threw cig withdrawls.. I woke up in the sweats this morning.. I have a lovely day planned out for me.. I skipped breakfast this morning my stomach has been flip flopping, so I might be getting a lovely child disease like the flu.. I don't normally skip breakfast but i am going to hate to eat it and have it come back up.. I think ill try some water and then if that holds it own ill try some wheat toast (no butter of course) and do my salad for lunch.. I dont know about the Lite Italian dressing thou, that crap has a bigger bite then i do.. First couple bites is alright, then the after taste has this zing that makes me cringe by then I'm threw with the salad..

I suppose I can do something else for lunch.. if the weather clears ill go mow the lawn then I will have completed my excersize quest for today.. as i said that the sun just peeked out i think a higher power is going to hold me to this.. lolol..

Off to do my wheat toast!!!

Welcome. I have 3 kids also and they are very skinny, but when I changed my diet, everyone's changed. They don't need a bunch junk either. It's ok for them to have the same foods as you. They get used to it. I switched to whole wheat everything and they barely noticed. Pasta too is whole wheat. Carrots and apples are great snacks for them, just as they are you. I totally can relate to not wanting to cook 2 dinners. And my advice is ...DON"T. If you are eating healthy it's good for them too. I am glad you are here and hope, that you find the support and direction that you nned to keep going!!!:)

Yes i did.. Today has been a 600 count day.. 200 from toast this morning and then 200 from lunch and tonights dinner is taco salad without the trimmings so about another 200.. So 600 in total today :)

so 600-1000 calories??? That is pretty low dude..........be careful........although eating tons of veggies does tend to make you come in on the low side..........just the same don't starve yer self.....otherwise it's like setting yerself up for failure!!! And we ain't gonna let that happen!!!!
and hey i don't do italian dressing either... it's just nasty.....I love Catalina so i just put in a cup on the side... and I get the lowfat kind.......1tbs goes a long way if ya just dip it!!!! Salad is not good with out a good dressing in my opnion!!! Just sayin...................

I'm no expert myself, but I know that for weight loss most would recommend quite a lot more food than you're getting at the moment.

I'm sorry to hear you feel unwell. Is it possible that it's just because you are eating so little? That has happened to me in the past. Sugar withdrawal can be coped with and is worth it for the freedom it gives afterwards, but overall lack of food will usually twist round and bite back.

I like balsimic vinegar as a salad dressing. I'm not sure of the calories - I've seen 10 cal/ tspn and 25 cal/ tbspn. It has a little sugar but no fat.

Can you take something healthy with you into a bar? Is that allowed? Maybe you could sneak some in some nuts, and crackers and carrot sticks? :)

Oh i almost pissed my pants laughin.. I am eating natural sugars to conquer that rage.. And boy howdy, I LOATHE apples, but ill cram one down my throat to get arid of the sugar cravings..

No, but the good thing about that is most the bars we shoot at make carb watchers and low fat diet meals..
The thing about the low calories is i still get a full meal out of the foods. Today I ate a piece of toast for breakfast, I am in rush this morning I have a meeting at 10 here in 6 minutes and then last night my grandfather had a heart attack, I didn't feel like eating after crying last night.. Shitty deal of it all was I got the call while I was at pool it upset me so bad I was ready to head out the 3 hour trip but the family said keep my ass at pool enjoy myself he is doing alright he was brought on by the flu and he is in the hospital no reason to go spend 180 on a room to not be able to see him..

LOLOL Randy.. hold ur ponies just because u easties are always in a rush (hence the 3 hours ahead of us) some of us are just starting our day.. buahaha got up at 7.30 got the kids ready for school at 8 got home and made breakfast for the youngest, cleaned my kitchen and then did a load of laundry, cleaned the living room, called my grandfather and mother to see who was heading to the coast, sat down for 15 minutes before my meeting and here i am now right after my metting.. Ill get my walk in just trying to find the minutes to schedule it in.. Ill get out there to hoof my ass off.. I dont have an ass thou and i am sad..
 
okay going to go pee and see if my lawn mower starts and NO randy i am not going to get one of those non-electrical push ones rotflmao.. The hippys in my neighborhood use em
 
I did it i mowed the lawn, got the back yard and the side yard done and i ran out of gas and so did the lawn mower, my allergies and asthma kicked up.. emm benadryl time so i can sit here in a daze..
 
Day 9

Tonight is a cabbage night, oh soab i forgot to add my potatos (2) to the cabbage soup. Lunch is a chore to figure out thou.. Guy wants a pb&j and I don't know what I want, I'm not hungry yet.. So far today i have had 340 calories, thanks to my soda (20 ounce).. I get migraines and once that caffiene wears out the headaches soon become fierce migraines, I have tried imatrix and that crap doesn't work and i have gone in for the benadryl drips and all those do is make u sleep threw the migraines.. I think ill do an poached egg on toast for lunch or another salad depends on which ever looks better at the moment..

So I went with the cup of noodles and carried on with the afternoon.. Picked up my daughter and was alerted to be on watch out patrol for my mom and aunt as they were going up to washington to take care of my grandfather.. They made it fine.. Dinner is a late bloomer tonight, I took a nap, the lawn and the benadrly knocked me out.. Well its time to eat..

Oh man sorry to hear about yer grandaddy, that is scary........hope he is allright.........grandads are wonderful guys.....heartattacks are just hidious man............leaves you feeling really helpless, my grandmom died of a heartattack 2 years ago:( ..........I still miss that lady...alot!!!
so you mowed yer lawn eh??? Mine is still wet from the storm we had......so i got a few days of lawn lazyness left.....:D allthough it does not relieve me from dog poop patrol, and this week is my turn!!!! I wish i had my house all cleaned and shiney............mine looks like a bomb went off in it!!! I have been hella busy this week though so thats my excuse and i am stickin to it!!!;)

We have a family full of asthma and allergies, consequently no one around here likes yard work. At least we contribute to the neighbour's well being because they all pride themselves on perfectly manicured lawns and look at our lawn and feel really good about themselves.
Ah yes, the benadryl daze, I know it well. :D
