Dude, that diet sounds horrible, and probably the reason you cheated all weekend.

Not trying to come across as a d*ck..you've lost some serious weight so far, and that should be commended, *but* and it's a big but, I'm guesstimating you're consuming less than 800 calories most days (and that's probably being generous).

A guy your size should be aiming for at least 2000 calories (roughly working out your TDEE) to lose 2lbs per week.

Yes you're losing weight..you're also gonna be losing lean mass along with the fat, and inevitably end up 'skinny fat', regardless of lifting weights.

I suggest you try and create a food plan that you can stick to permanently, cause I'm guessing your current diet is not it. Focus on hitting your macros, i.e. Protein/Carbs/Fat.

Not only can you open up your diet to a whole host of delicious healthy foods, you can sneak in the odd treat and not feel bad!

Again, you should be proud of the weight you've lost, but in the long run, the way you're going about it is not only horrible (for you) it's unhealthy, and I don't see how you're gonna stick to it..which, you have already seen, *can* cause you to put weight back on quite easily.

I get you have a short term goal, but losing weight and being healthy is a long term pursuit.

I am by no means an expert, and you can tell me to feck off, but if you want any advice/help, I'm more than happy to be of assistance.

Syn.

I applaud you for taking care of this while it is still a "manageable" amount to lose and not a hundred pounds. I am a big guy too (six-one) but I am older now and I cant loose as fast as I once could. I would warn you that trying to stick to the very spartan diet you have begun will be hard. You face the danger of the binge. Good luck making your goals.
