My bulking progress...

Post up a sample diet and I'll pick it apart :D

I travel a lot with my job, so my diet is very random. I make the best choices i can, based on what i have available to me. On average, my days look like this.

Breakfast - 4 egg whites, 2 yolks, 1 cup Kashi high fiber&high protein Cereal (or oatmeal, or a WW english muffin w/ honey if i'm short on time), 1 cup of skim milk, coffee (black, 2 splenda), vitamin, fish oil.
Snack - 1 cup of cottage cheese, 1 orange, 1 cup of skim milk
Lunch - varies so much, but lets go with the Qdoba buritto i had when i was in the office. basically about 850 calories, 50+ grams of protein, 70+ grams of carbs, 20+ grams of fiber, 40+ grams of fat. They're not healthy, but they're loaded with beans, chicken, veggies.
Snack - beef jerkey, trail mix
PWO shake - 2 scoops of ON 100% whey, 1 cup of skim milk, banana
Dinner - large chicken breast,1 cup rice/1 medium baked potato, 1 cup green beans/broccoli/mixed veg.
Snack - cottage cheese, fish oil

Again, this isn't spot on... but it's close. I was averaging 2700-2900 calories when i was tracking on FitDay, but i've been super busy and haven't had time to keep it up to date. I think my calorie intake has increased over the last few weeks.

I appreciate you taking your time to tear this apart. I know its not great, but like i said, i do the best i can with what i have available.

Try not to get any fats within 2 hours post workout. Add some whey to your first meal of the day. It looks like you like milk, if you do up each serving to 2 cups (especially since it's fat free). <~That will help give you more calories on your first 'snack'. Your lunch is 'eh, but life takes over so we'll say that's okay :p. As for your second snack, you need carbs at least 40. This will help give you a little extra energy for the gym along with up your total kcal. And add some more carbs to pwo, dextrose/malo if you need to supplement it. Dinner looks great. Up your cottage cheese severing a little bit, or add a cup of milk.

Your diet doesn't look bad, but if you're not growing you'll just need a little more protein and a little more carbs. Just curious but about how much fat did fitday say you were getting average?

Also... i've been considering creatine. I've done a little research on it, but i just haven't bought any yet.

yay or nay?

(if yes, should i order online, or is GNC's creatine just as good as any?)

That's a good amount of fat, 120 being a little on the high side but you've got calories to spare so not a biggie. Just try to keep them above 80.

Creatine is a great tool imo, especially since your diet is pretty good. I just get creatine monohydrate from gnc, but that's because I get a pretty good discount :D. I'm sure some others will chime in about brands, but all you need is monohydrate nothing fancy.

alright then, creatine monohydrate it is... I'll pick some up sunday (we get 15% off on sundays at the GNC near my house)

boo on the GNC, if you dun got a discount it's so not worth it. i buy mine at edge, but i get a kickass discount there :D. if i so much as look at a gnc i feel like my wallet has gotten lighter

Its been a while since i updated... check it

I have no clue how much i weigh... but i think i see some progress...

It's your delts that've been sticking out to me!.. they take on a life of their own in some of those shots:D . lol . :)..

It's a pretty good indictation of what everything else's doing though and I guess that's why through your teres in the last shot are really showing your work there.

Considering how few grainey carbs you've really got in there, it's quite cool to see you pulling this off.

Awesome way to go !

Thanks for the replies... i was getting very frusterated when i was taking pictures every 2 weeks... so i decided to wait about 2 months. I'm glad i did, because i'm finally happy that i'm seeing some results...

Unfortunately, i might have to start cutting in a week or two. I'm going to Dallas in march and we'll probably swimming and hot tubbin'... I wouldn't mind having abs for that week

Thanks... i've decided against cutting down for my trip to Dallas. Although it would be nice to be all lean for the trip, i'd rather be BIG and lean for the summer.
