My Birthday Present

Leancristine

My B-day present idea came from that infocommercial starring Chuck Norris, his wife, and Christie Brinkley. I purchased that Total Gym Workout XLS on the 27th of Feb and it arrived today. The Fed Ex guy had a hard time with his lanky self lifting it. It was heavy over 100 ponds and okward in the box, but I lifted that thing and moved it acrossed the garage, unloaded it in there and moved it to my bedroom piece by piece. Normally the thought of spending that much money, almost one grand for a machine would be insane to me years prior. But age must have a " I don't care what it costs attitude for better living."

I set it up which was a minor headache in a closed space, but I did it.
I am reading everything sent before I begin using it and I am very hopeful that I will lose my belly fat. That was the sole reason was to lose belly fat and tone up in muscles and strength. I would like to find other people using this machine who would be interested in sharing thier experiances in providing me motivation to keep at it.Motivation is the biggest challenge for me. It helps so much to have someone to share it with.:nopity: I like sharing what I have learned with others as being middle age is a problem in losing weight and maintaining that desired figure.

nice! congratulations and happy birthday!
I hope you got a good price on it!

It could have been worse.

Having a home machine gym is a wonderful thing to have as I should have done this earlier than to put money in a gym membership. I have had it for about two and a half weeks and I have already built a bulging muscles in my biceps on level #2. I am moving to level #3 trying to work up to level #4 and eventually to level #6. Ihave seen drastic changes in my weight in inches around my middle and I am very impressed, including very satisfied with my purchase of the Total Gym XLS. It has a few minor drawbacks, but nothing serious. No pain no gain, right? If its not burning its not melting away. :sifone:
I feel good about the way I look and it boosts confidence. But what I am leaning towards in my workouts is building muscle and strength, not so much leaness. I do men's workouts and not women's as I am seeking something else that just being leancristine. But here is the issue that I face.. I am building muscle under layers of abdominal fat. How do I get rid of the fat and keep the muscle? Liposuction? I have conscidreed that option for the future. It would cost me the dollars in the machine at regular price.
