Hey folks, just signed up today.

I'm a 25 year old male, just finished university a few months ago. I've been fat all my life. My biggest motivation for losing weight is to lose my man-boobs and to finally be comfortable with wearing a t-shirt in the summer and taking off my top at the beach... just wanna feel comfortable with my body. Also, i've had enough of wearing dark and baggy clothing all the time.

Wish me luck! I'll be posting pics of myself every week. Gona work on diet, cardio and weight training.

Good Luck! you picked a good time to start with summer coming up an all. looking forward to updates!

Thanks guys. I feel so optimistic and full of enthusiasm! :iagree:

I started going jogging yesterday (using high intensity interval training, works wonders from what I know), and I feel absolutely great!

And to be in the park when the sun is rising :coolgleamA: and the birds are singing to each other... the cool air that flows through your lungs and fills your body with a special warmth.

Mmmm can't wait to get that hurculean body - it wont only look good, but it'll feel oh-so-good too :sifone:

Make sure to keep us updated every week!! Try weighing yourself every friday. Some people say everyday.. some do it just once a week on friday.

Thanks a lot guys.

Hmmm, methinks weighing oneself once/week is a good idea. Every day changes are far too subtle to make anything out of. Since I started on a Sunday, I'll be weighing myself every sunday and posting my pics then too :p

Hey folks! thanks for all the support :p

All in all it's been an OK-week. I managed to fit in roughly 10 minutes of high intensity exercise (sprinting/jogging intervals) for 5 days out of 7, and controlled my food portions well (though on 3 occasions I ate too much, gotta work on that).

I didn't do any weight training though, need to get that started.

Haven't lost any weight, but all in all I feel great and I feel as though my body is slimming (though not much difference on the pics) - I understand it'll take time and I need to focus on process rather than results. :p

10 May 09 Update

kaydm: thanks :p

Ok folks, so here are my pics again. It's been over 2 months since I started and I have to say the results are disappointing - there's little or no change whatsoever.

Hmmm I have to work on my focus. Haven't been able to go jogging regularly, as it would mean I need to wake up at 5.45 am so I can get to work on time :(

Just started weight-training, so hopefully the new muscle gain will help me shed some more.

Wish me luck guys.
