Hope y'all haven't just eaten.

This is what I look like now, after losing 12 lbs. Current weight: 244.8. I'm 5'6".

Next pic: 15 lbs from now. The only reason I'm putting this up there is because other people have put theirs up. I figured you wouldn't really get to appreciate the true extent of the flab without a shirtless photo. If that kind of thing isn't done here, let me know and I'll re-do it with a shirt on.

EDITED TO ADD:

This is me today, at 217.6 lbs...27.2 lbs less than the first picture, and 40 lbs down overall.

EDITED TO ADD:

This is me this morning at 205.2 lbs...almost 40 less than the first picture and 51.4 down overall.

you're fine without your top on...

you might want ot have that "skin condition" looked at -that red blotchiness looks itchy :D

In addition to weight are you also keeping track of measurements?

Haha, I went back to look at what skin condition ( I have eczema , I was going to offer advice) and I couldn't figure it out- then I did, and now I feel like an idiot! Thanks Mal!

me too I have psoriasis,Mal isn't normally that subtle thats what threw me:blush5:

txsqlchick good start with the 12lbs, btw any photos of women with their top off is usually fine by me:party:

Great job on the 12lbs lost already. You can do this. When I first joined this forum I was right there where you are now. I'm not going to say its easy, its flippin harder then hades, but its worth it when you post that pic of yourself at 230, or 215 or dare I say it, when you post that pic of you in the 100's.

Nope, shithead took my tape measure. I need to get a new one.

Yep. I figure I don't know anyone here and we're all or have been in the same boat, so what's there to lose? It's not like people are going to make fun of me. To my face, anyway. :conehead:

OK, new photo time.

This is the first photo:

And here's me this morning wearing the same bra and pajama bottoms:

I need to actually set up my tripod and take PROPER pictures but I'm pretty lazy by nature.

I think the difference is subtle but visible.

I can see improvement!

Yes! You can tell in the picture that you have lost weight. My only suggestion would be to stand up straighter ... you'll look thinner! Great job and keep up the good work. We are all in this together!

New pic time.

Me at 245lbs:

Me at 228.5 lbs:

That roll around the middle is definitely shrinking but it's still there. I *hate* it. Up until a few years ago I still had a flat...if squishy...stomach.

In the two photos I'm wearing the same bra and same bottoms. I should start taking photos wearing more form-fitting clothing because you can't see any detail where I'm covered by the pants. The pants are now much too large for me. I woke up this morning with them around my knees. They traveled down as I rolled around in bed. They didn't used to do that.

Wow, definitely can see a difference in that one, looks good!! :hurray:

And doesn't it feel great when things suddenly get too big? Okay, it means that you need to get new clothes, but it's the best indication that you're losing weight!!

Congrats, and here's to the next 15 lbs! :cheers2:

Thanks guys...the first pic is actually kind of shocking to me now, because that's no longer what I see in the mirror. I'm grossed out by it.

YAY for you! You can definately see a change! Find something real form fitting to take pictures in so that you can wear it as you shrink and see the difference. WAY TO GO and keep up the hard work!

WOW! That is probably the hardest part to come off, the first part.. What a difference. That's the confidence boost you need to just shed the rest off, like snake skin.. *not that easy of course* but so much progress. Congrats!
