My before and (almost) after.

Hi everyone.

I've mostly been a lurker here, but the forums have nonetheless been motivational for me in my weight loss journey, so I wanted to share my before and (almost, I'd like to lose another ten pounds) after pictures. I started on March 31, 2007 at 157.6 lbs. and as of today, October 16, 2007, I weigh 120.4 lbs.

Before. I was actually shocked at how terrible I looked in these when I saw them again.









And after. These were taken over the last couple of months or so, so I range between 120-125 lbs. in these.
 
I think you can see a huge difference just in my face, too. My face before:

Another 10 pounds? You look good the way you are now. But either way, i'm sure you can do it.
 
I am actually at your BEFORE weight and your AFTER weight is my dream weight..do share on how you manage to achieve to this weight...wat's yr height by the way?
 
I think you are a very beautiful girl at any weight, but you radiate happiness in your after pics. I have to say I am amazed at your transformation and admire all the hard work that you put in. Do you mind me asking what changes you introduced in your routine to achieve such inspiring results?

As for how I did it, nothing complicated! Counted every single calorie I ate using Fitday, and restricted to 1400-1600 calories/day. Also started eating healthfully (cut out all pop, junk food, sugary juice, white bread/pasta, processed stuff, etc. and started eating lots of fruit/vegetables/whole grains and lots of organic/natural stuff). And lots of cardio! I started out going to the gym seven days a week and doing a combination of jogging and power walking for 40-60 minutes, and transitioned into running for half an hour five days a week after a few months.
