My abs

Right now i have a nice 6 pack in my opinion and i do my abs 3 times a week hitting them hard on wensdays. I do 3 sets of upper abs, one set of sides, and 3 sets of lower abs. but im not making and progress anymore. they have stayed the same ever since i got them. My diet is very clean and my body fat is in the 6 to 7 percent fat range. I do cardio 5 days a week for 30 mins on weeks days and for about and hour on saturday. What can i do to get my abs to grow and look more cut?
 
Just out of curiosity what do you do for your 30 minutes cardio and hour cardio?

Now to ur abs, if you say that you have been doing those exercises ever since u got ur abs, you need to mix up ur routine. Over a time your muscle adapts to a workout routine, so you should change it around every 8 or so weeks.

So just mix it up, change the exercises you do on ur abs for a while and see how that goes.
 
I work out with him. He does 10-30 minutes on the stair climber and 20-30 minutes on the skii machine (not sure if thats the actual name but its what we call it).
 
If you are in the 6% bf range, then your abs would be clearly visible. Perhaps your reading is wrong or are you just judging by sight?
 
Dyer I had this problem to, put a weight on your chest when you do sit ups, not to much like maybe 5-10 lbs, depends on how big you are, and try to do more sets on your abs...

Oh yea when you work out your upper abs your still working out your lower abs, vise versa with the lower abs to upper abs. When you do sit ups your working your whole abs

my abs are very visual but i just need em to get bigger. I read where u should do a lower ab exercise ie legs lifts then you sides (ie trunk twists) then your upper ( decline crunches) i use a 45 lb plate on a decline bech when i do my crunches and a 10 lb dumbbell between my feet when i do my leg lifts. my stats are im 18 5'10 174 arms 17 3/4 inches and a bench of 300 but i just can get my abs to "pop" i mean you can see them clearly i just want em to get bigger you know? my lower ab reps consist of 20 to 25 reps on each set and the upper 20 to 35 reps on each set. anything i am missing or doing wrong?
 
I'm not an expert on abs but you might want to lower your rep range to 10 - 15 and increase the weight for hypertrophy
