Muscle workout with cardio on rest days?

I am looking to gain muscle and bulk up. Currently I do weight workouts mondays, wednesdays, and fridays. and I also do Cardio on tuesdays and thursdays. The type of cardio I do is this:

I do them back 2 back. I heard that doing very intense cardio is not good before or after muscle workouts so I do them on my day off. I was just wondering if The cardio does not allow my muscle mass to repair, if I need to have very little excersize on my rest days.
 
Yes, you would be correct to do it this way. You need to allow your muscles to restore and if you want to keep up a momentum, then cardio on the off days is smart. Be sure that with whatever cardio you are doing, you are not overworking the muscles you might have smashed the previous day.

An idea is to do split sessions. Do legs on one day, rest those muscles the next day while focusing on upper body cardio, then do core the next followed by a lower body cardio day and so on.
 
Thanks I might do the split sessions some time in the future. Is ab exercises like crunches and Bicycle kicks and jack knives Cardio exercises? Like can I do ab exercises on my rest days?
