muscle part

ok iv been reading alot in these forums (in my aim of getting a body like brad pitts). however i constantly come across the routine of devoting each day to a specific body part. for instance monday is chest day, tuesday is bicep and tricep day etc etc... iv been training for a month. i go to the gym every other day and in them days i do everything (chest, bicep tricep, shoulders, lat, running). i dont just devote a day to a body part, rather i work everything and i also do interval training on the treadmill every other day as well. Ever since reading alot about devoting each day to a body part iv been a bit worried about my routine. is it wrong to work out every muscle when visiting the gym? if so, y is it wrong? and do you recomend that i devote each day to a body part.

i recommend you do full body 3 times a week, just make sure u dont do full body 2 days in a row. are you using a routine you have made yourself? or something a pro has made? if you made it yourself, do you know what you are doing when making a routine?
 
trainign one muscle group a day is considered 'advanced'...not something you should think about until you've been diligently training and eating right for 3 years.

Its a time when you really have to thrash muscles in order to achieve hypertrophy/growth, because you've trained so long the body has adapted too well to the stresses you give it with less 'intense' workouts.

Even then, unless your goal is to be an IFBB pro, you should be able to get away with push/pull/leg splits.
 
so far im doing it every otehr day. so 1 week i train every muslce part 4 times a week and the other week i do it 3 times a week. this is a routine that i made entirely myself by lookin and combining different weight training techniques i found over the internet. So i mean what iv gathered from this then is that i should just keep on going with the routine i made. i mean iv got a good body i suppose but i mean if i dedicate each muslce part to a particular day im not really gonna spend much time in teh gym. so i should just go with what i got so far? maybe think about concentratin on parts of teh body in the future? i mean im tryin to get a body like brad pitts and i found out he dedicated each day to a specific muslce. i reckon the main thing in getting them kind of abs though is interval cardio on the treadmill.
 
yer. i went onto that forum before but i then came across the muslce part for each day thingy. n e way thanks guys. il just carry on with my routine.
