Muscle Building goals

Does this seem like a reasonable goal to you and what do you think I should add/ take out?

Goal: By July 31st 2006, (5-6 Monthes; Football Training Camp) I want to weight 220 Pounds, and have 200 pounds be that of muscle. (Which should give me about 10% body Fat.) The reason is that I want to be really strong, one of the strongest DLine or Linebackers on my JV Football Team. On my Freshmen season I was one of the weakest. Here is my current stats.

Stats
--------
Height- 5 foot 9 inches
weight- 156 Pounds
Waist- 33 inches
I would say I have "moderate" activity level (I started weight lifting too)
Bench- My max bench is 100 Pounds , 1 rep

So what do I need to do to achieve this goal (I know the basics).

Calories? Should I do cardio? Muscle then fat or both at same time? Thank You.

70 pounds in 5 months? I'm gonna say that's a bit unreasonable to expect...at least without gaining a considerable amount of fat along the way. I'd concentrate on getting strong and eating. Continue to eat until you start to gain 1.5 to 2 pounds a week and then keep your calories there.

Very unrealistic.. And what evo said, 1-2lbs a week, will require you to work your ass off, and never miss a meal.. I started @ 5'9 130lbs and it's taken me about 6 years to get to 210 11%bf..

#1. Lower your goal.
#2. Do you want size or strength? Because they're NOT the same.

Since you play football I'll assume you want strength, Keep your sets spaced out, stay in the 6-8 rep range. But since you're a noob to the lifting world, anything will work.

Yup, what evo and mreik said already. The calories are vital. Try to keep track of what and how much you are eating. Good luck

Size and strenghth are different??

Well, I really just want to be strong. Size Doesn't really matter. And 70 pounds in 5 months, I don't think that is going to happen. Maybe 180-200 pounds is more realistic. Yeah, I guess I'm pretty new to lifting, started around Christmas when I got my first bench. Thank you, any other suggestions?

No, I don't want to be 180-200 pounds of fat, I want to be real strong with a low body fat percentage. It would be nice. I don't really work on my diet, I weight lift on average, and I don't do any cardio ( I should start however). God knows what my 40 time is .
