Hey Everybody!

Wow, I'm glad to have found this forum. I don't have much of a support group so I hope this will be a nice way to stay motivated. I've been overweight for a few years and I'm sincerely tired of it. I hate the way I look. I can't count how many times I've laid awake in bed and promised myself the next day that I would change the way I ate and how frequently I worked out. Well, recently I've really been watching what I eat and I've been going to the gym twice a day. I like going in the morning because if something comes up later in the day and I can't go after work, I still have had a good workout. I don't overdue it really. I just do some cardio and burn about 400 calories per workout. Also, working out more has made it so I can go to sleep earlier. I sit in front of a computer all day and if I don't get any physical activity in there, I stay awake until the wee hours of the night.

One thing that I really want to improve on is how frequently I'm eating. I have a really bad habit of getting involved in something at work and skipping lunch. I actually forget to eat lunch. Isn't that crazy? It will be like 4 or something and I'll finally feel hungry and have no idea where the time went.

Anyway, heres what I ate today.

Breakfast:
Bowl of Kashi Cereal
7 Triscuit Crackers

Lunch:
Yes I forgot to eat lunch today

Dinner:
2 servings of Healthy Choice chicken and rice soup. Yum!

I drank crap tons of water and I take a multivitamin.

I know what I did today for diet wasn't exactly the healthiest thing but tomorrow I will be better. I'm going to set a reminder to eat lunch. I know I should probably eat small 5 times a day but I really don't have time for it. So 3 times a day will have to do.

Hello, welcome to the forum :D

I know what it's like to forget about meals. It's really important to remember to eat though. With the amount of calories you are burning, you may want to consider upping your daily caloric intake as well. You dont want your body to go into starvation mode.
I was doing the same thing when I started the forum, but there are so many people here who genuinely care, and want to share their success, and I just naturally found a balance.
I wish you lots of luck, and please PM me anytime if you need to talk :)
