This is my first day of my diet, and I plan on updating this as much as I can. I started the diet because I have been overweight my whole life, and really just want to be average sized, and in shape. I've always had a problem with over-eating. My mom was a single working mom, and was always bringing take out home. She let me eat just about whatever I wanted in portions, and things just kind of spiraled down from there. Here I am at 260lbs and only 19 years old.
My biggest problem so far is eating well in my current situation. I've tried portioning off my food at school, and it went well today, but I am not sure how to count how many calories I have taken in. I also have a major problem with binge eating that I am trying to overcome. Even if my stomach hurts, for some reason I feel like I still need to eat. I'm hoping that feeling will go away once I get into more of a regiment.
My current goal is to lose 95lbs. That would put me down to 165, and give me a BMI of 23.7. I'm not too sure about my exercise regimen yet, if anyone could offer any tips that would be great. I have good access to a gym and a pool. And there are plenty of great trails to hike around here. I just need to get myself motivated and start exercising. I really hope I can stick to this diet, I have occasional chest pain, and that is one of the main causes for going on this diet. I know the older I get, the harder it will be, and if I don't do it now, why would I end up doing it later?
If anyone has any dieting tips, for low budget college students that would be great
