I had a much better day yesterday, albeit still a little high in carbs. (I'm supposed to stay under 60) But the crumpets are now no more, and the rest of the buns have been banished to work with hubby.

Yesterday's food:
protein shake
2 cheesy crumpets
tuna vegie bake, with mushrooms and green beans

1420 cals, 78 carbs
 
Did much better with the carbs today. And I feel as though I ate more than I really did. Would that I felt like this every day!

I ate:
corned beef, HB egg, cheese and ranch dressing
chicken baked with cheese and bacon
chicken and cheese on toast, followed by whipped chocolate cream

1255 cals, 27 carbs
 
Yesterday's food:
protein shake
chicken wings with honey and soy sauce
cheese and salmon on toast

1180 cals, 27 carbs. 900 cals burned in exercise.

This morning my weight is back to 98.7. It's been hovering between 98.5 and 98.7 since my "naughty" day on Monday. I'd have thought my body would have let go of that extra water by now, but I think my calories have been a little too low, so I'll try to keep them up to 1500ish for the next couple of days and see what happens.
 
Just checking in on you Mrs. Shadow! I upped my calories a bit also...checked out that BMR thing :) I will increase it again when I start exercising. What did you do to burn 900 cals in exercise? That is great!:hurray:
 
Hey Xenon, thanks for the visit. I work out when I can and walk a lot to burn off calories.

My weight is up a little today, despite my being right on track. It's possibly a wee muscle gain from my increased exercise, but more likely just to be the dreaded Week 3 plateau. I am still well down over all, so will just continue, as I'm sure the weight will soon recommence dropping.

Yesterday's food:
protein shake
chicken and cheese on toast
chilli, with green beans, and cheese and sour cream

1550 cals and 28 carbs
 
Today I ate:
cheese and bacon on toast
protein shake
chicken curry with cabbage and bok choy

1500 cals, 31 carbs
 
Today I ate:
2 lamb cutlets with green salad
rump steak with red wine sauce, hash browns and cauliflower

1350 cals, 28 carbs
 
Still trundling along, sticking to plan.

Eats:
savoury bread and butter custard
protein shake
roast chicken, Portuguese style, baby bok choy and green beans

1450 cals, 28 carbs

I'm down to 97.9 this morning, and happy dancing all over the place! It seems my little plateau of last week is a thing of the past.

A happy day for me today. :) First, I'm down another 100 grams to 97.6 today. Then I decided to toss a pair of ¾ pants - because they are too big! And... it gets better. When I bought the pants I threw out, I also bought a pair of shorts I somehow neglected to try on. Always a mistake. But they were the same size as the others, and the same brand, so I foolishly assumed they would be the same size. Uh uh. I could not even pull them up. Tried them on a couple of weeks ago, and they were still way too small. But today I have had them on all day long. A wee bit tight, but not uncomfortable.

Today's food:
protein shake
steak with small side salad
beef curry, with cabbage and beans

1450 calories, 12 carbs

It's a great feeling fitting into that piece/s of clothing that you weren't able to fit into comfortably a few weeks ago.

Now... I think soon enough you will need to start organizing to buy yourself a new wardrobe soon enough with this great progress!
 
Whoo Hooo That is such a nice feeling not only throw away the fat pant but to be able to fit into the ones you couldn't!!! Great Job:party:

Grats on on the too big jeans and the just right shorts! I have a tub of clothes I haven't been able to wear in years and I can't wait until I can pull those out again. Great job!
