I can relate to the hardest part of your day is waking up. I'm definitely NOT a morning person, generally speaking. After reading this thread I decided I was going to go for a morning run today. HA! I woke up early and was so tired that before I knew it I fell asleep for a few more hours. The good news, I actually DID go for a run after I woke up the second time and ate some food. I waited about 50min after eating before going for the run. I felt so much more awake and energized than had I not went for that run. Just keep your chin up and try your hardest to improve not only your body, but your mind and your own habits as well. Good luck! Trust me, if I can do it and I am one of the worst morning people I know, then you can do it too!
