I just need to keep reminding myself that we have different bodies & therefore we would have to eat differently. As much as I do love his body, I want mine to look a bit different.

...does piss me off the amount of crap he can put away & still look awesome. grrr. Oh well. I have boobs & he doesn't so nah! :p

maybe join the military for a few weeks :)

one of my colleagues is in the army reserves and he gave me a treat on Friday by dropping and giving me 50 pushups -which he knocked out in about 30 seconds and didn't break a sweat... And can I just say -NICE BICEPS :D He doesn't have an ounce on body fat on him - at 40, he's got the body that most 20 year olds would kill for... and his favorite food? Popeye's fried chicken and biscuits...

be thankful you have boobies -the boy would look pretty funny with them :D
 
I'm ready to get more securely in the 170s & hopefully end up in the 160s at some point soon.

ok... I was just getting lunch & the cashier asked if I had been losing weight!! He said my face was looking thinner lately. I have to say that means more to me than a number on a scale.

& I was feeling sad about not getting that tempting chocolate turtle that was looking so good! Forget the chocolate candy... I like this better.
 
way to go ... what a nice feeling that must be :) chocolate turtles good... people seeing the results of your hard work - gooder :D
 
Hey MG! I know what you mean about eating according to time versus being hungry. I eat like clockwork. Like when it hits a certain time of the day I go onto auto pilot and eat. It's the strangest thing! But the other day I had lunch with a co-worker of mine and he barely ate his lunch and made a comment about not having much of an appetite after a night of drinking. At first I didn't know what the hell he was talking about (cuz I have no problem eating after a night of drinking) and then I started pondering on it. AND I realized what you previously mentioned. I eat all the time when i am not hungry...I do it out of habit and from all the weight loss programs I have tried over the years I have always been told to eat before you get hungry so you don't go into starvation mode and eat everything in sight. hahaha Well the guy I ate w/is skinny...so I guess there is some truth to not eating when you are not hungry and losing weight. I don't trust that method but it definitely makes me curious!
 
& while we are in the "why the heck would anyone do this?"files...



ug... I have memories of my dorm when everyone just thought spraying the room freshener covered up the smell of anything they might be doing in the shared bathroom.

Why do they keep creating this stuff? Seems like they should be making stuff healthier not more likely to cause cardiac arrest earlier in life.

OMG!!:eek2: and to think when I wasn't dieting I would have probally been able to eat 2 that is 1,840 for breakfast alone,can ya imagine eating lunch and dinner there to in 1 day 3000-4000 cals wow,TY for sharing BURGER KING has bad breakfast sandwhichies to I heard.Anyway your doing great and look at that ticker so close to the 174 mark,have a nice day Tammy
 
Ug.. again with the 179.0 on the scale. I put on my clothes & got ready for work & it read 180.6 so I guess its actually working but dang its weird. When I started the Halloween challenge I was at 178.6 so I'm hoping by Saturday I can get lower than that at least. I was over my calorie range by 21 calories yesterday but other than that I have stuck to it the past several days.

I have also been consistent with taking my vitamins & can REALLY tell a difference. I seem to have a touch more energy & able to handle lil stresses better so I am sticking to it. It can be challenging working at a health food store. I want to take everything we have on the shelves sometimes. I am currently sticking with just a good multi, a chromium (balances blood sugar levels) & sometimes a cal-mag-zinc when I can see I will be low on calcium for the day. But its like a candy store sometimes. If only it all did what it promised...
 
180.6 with clothes on - unless you just wear a loin cloth to work -makes you well under 179... that's terrific for you...
