I didn't mean it that way. I just mean--the sooner you get your shit together, the happier you'll be. I think for most of us, the older we get, the harder it is to change. I feel like I wasted the last five yrs of my life, but I'm glad I only wasted 5yrs instead of 10. If I knew at 30 what I know now--oh life would be so much better at the moment. But oh well. You can't go back and re-do things.
 
Hello! i am new to your diary. Thought i'd drop in and maybe make another friend on here. I turned 30 2 yrs ago. Had a real hard time of it too. I traded in my mini van for a 4x4 Dodge truck and changed all my clothes to the current style. Which at the time I hated!!:p But now i agree with Mal, the 30's are nice and more relaxed and I am more confident in myself. I wish i would've had that all my life, but it waited to come for me. So i hope that helps you some, it's not as bad as you think. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!:D

I just "celebrated" my 30th bday last month. Its not that bad. Of course, I started school, so I think that really helped!

Seriously your 30's are probably the best time of your life. Especially for a lady. All I'll say is "Peak" :D mmm:drooling:
In actuality I don't beleive you will "feel" any different than you did in your 20's . You'll still be the same person thursday!

Thats a big thank you to all who are sending me birthday wishes!!! This place & most of all you gals/guys ROCK!!!

So far TURDY isn't too bad I guess. Although I have made such a big deal about my Dr Peppers lately that my office mates gave me two cases along with some flowers for my birthday present from them! Eek! I was trying to cut back, which is why when I did treat myself to those glorious empty cals of caffiene goodness & was excited about it...oops. Oh well I refuse to count any calories today (sorry team... at least I am staying off the scale :eek: ) & am planning on picking up some of my favorite Thai food on the way home tonight after I treat myself to a relaxation session in the tanning bed.

Oh yeah I use this stuff called Worship Me, that is a major moisturizer & bronzer so I look darker quicker. Plus who wouldn't want to use something called WORSHIP ME!?! Smells yummy too! Just seems to work with the day.
 
Yeah its perfect for all those aches too...great for cramping. Just a full body heating pad, that makes you look a shade better afterwards. I'm just going for a short session since I would burn otherwise but still feels like I am pampered.

So much for the Thai-Viet take out for dinner. My boss & office mates just surprised me with lunch (FROM THERE.. so I have already had my fav meal) & a heavenly sinful decadent chocolate cake. Ug. I am so going to have to run a while tomorrow & just have salads the rest of the weekend if I am going to weigh in even at what I was last week. Feels great, but that could be the caffeine & sugar buzz talking.

mmm...ok thirty aint so bad so far after all. :rolleyes:

Got it at the tanning salon the first time then I have gotten it online too. (be careful ordering stuff online though..)


check out that stuff... I even love the bottle.... thank goodness for simple pleasure in life. :) yeah.. I know I'm a touch shallow at times.. whatevah, its fun.

I love the bottle too!! Shallow? nah, you are just like me, you love to pamper yourself. I actually sell skin care & cosmetics, but we don't have anything that says "worship me." That is some great marketing, I tell you.
