MoonGoddess's Path

That was great! Man--I'm glad I'm not a female elephant!!

Yes, pee-ing has become something I do more than anything else these days!! I can't wait until this bonus week is over! Let's just hope that next week's bonus isn't drinking one oz of water for every poung--double!! Yikes. I'd just start wearing adult diapers!!

I'm just hoping that I continue drinking half my weight (in ounces) in water & that my bladder adapts to where I can do it & not pee as much...

forget being a female elephant, I would hate to be the male elephant having to drag that around all day! Eeek!

So I just found an interesting website...

Tells the equivalent of what weight you have lost in random items... so far this year I have lost the same as a sperm whale's brain... OK. Still hoping that I can lose a 5 gallon jug of water this year... we shall see...

What a great list ! *L*

I feel like I am turning into a fish I drank so much water yesterday... more than the half your weight goal. In fact, 18 more ounces & I would have drank my weight! thought it would help me to wake today to see a lower number on the scale, but nope. Up just a touch. Its ok. I have to have faith I will be dropping down again sooooooon. Hopefully in time for the weight in for the challenge.

A little water humor from the great Lewis Black to get me laughing this morning....

Oh that Lewis Black clip was just perfect for this challenge! I've been bringing my 1QT bottle with me to work each day this week , just like I'm crossing the desert *L*

Keep up the hard work and the scale will cooperate with you soon I hope.
and drink that water! *L*

yeah I have been carrying my Nalgene (32 oz) with me everywhere. Already drained it twice today & working on refill number 3! Its one of the perks of working at a health food store, lots of FREE purified water! So I guess water is still free sometimes!

I like that list of what loss equivelents equal - however, it says I've lost the average adult male - that figures - it's why I can't find one -i've already lost him :)

well maybe you lost one of the ones no one wants anyway.. & now you are free to replace it with a better model of your chosing.... :)

Ha Ha Ha - Ive lost what the amercian ppl eat of cheese in a year...

Ive taken a bit of a break Im gonna work on being around a bit more but Im not prioritizing here...I do miss you girly and thanx for always supporting me - Im in the challenege as well _ im hoping to rekick start myself back into weight loss:)

I feel like all the cheese americans eat each year....

I hate it when you just feel heavy. Woke up this morning knowing I FINALLY stayed within my sodium limits yesterday (first time in a while!), been working out regularly again & drinking water like its my business... just knew the scale would be down...at least a few ounces. NOTHING. Weight once... same as yesterday 178.8. Did a few morning things, came back about 30 minutes later...I saw 179.4! WHAT? I didn't eat or drink anything.. naked both times, what gives? I want to beat the scale with a bat Office Space style! argh. Now even though I know I am the same weight that I was happy to reach a while back, I hate it.

This body needs to get with the program & drop pounds.. NOW! Especially before the weigh in for the challenge. I refuse to let House on Weightloss Hill not live up to its name.

I know how you feel. All the water is slowing down my weight loss. Try to eat more fibrous things or something. :)

Ummm... The water isn't making me pee as much as I thought it should. But I also realized I pee a lot more when i drink water and do a lot of cardio.

Good luck with that dumb scale!!!

Dont get discourage. It will go down. I was feeling the same way one week, I had been loosing good then the next I only lost 1.5lbs which I know is good but I wanted to see more. But i kept going and the next week i went down
4lbs. So if it doesnt happon this week I am sure you will see it next week.:D

boy I hope so. I got to thinking last night.. I started trying to loss in Jan, which means I am 9 months into this journey. Granted I know I have not been good the whole time... but I got to thinking that if I was just losing a pound a week I should be down WAY MORE than I actually am. I should be down like 36 lbs instead of 17. Two pounds a week would have been 72 lbs! Frustrating to be greedy healthwise! :)

I just really want to do this.

Maybe tomorrow will be a better scale day.

Yeah, I've done that thinking, too, so any comments made by yours truly might seem hypocritical. The best I can offer is "Hey! You're losing! It sure beats gaining!" :D

Hope that helped.:jump:

yeah. I have to say that losing an average of half a pound a week is better than putting that half pound on.

I'm just one of those people who wants to excel at everything I can & this struggle is hard. Have to remember how many years it took to put on & that there is no healthy way its goig to come off overnight, as much as I wish there was.

Best we can do is keep on, keeping on...

Good Luck.. to all of us.

Hahaha! I feel your pain in so many ways!!:cry: I, too would love to take a bat to my scale. 3.5weeks into this plateau. And, I wish I had lost more lbs by now as well. I've been going at this for almost 9months. Lost 41, but it should be more like 75-80. Sigh. Oh well--it is much better than gaining, so we just have to keep that in mind.

Maybe we need to offer up a sacrifice to the weight loss gods...lmao What kind of scarifice would they like???
