I need to find one. Might try the one at Davids, or I might use a friend of my moms that has made me a dress before.. but she is 3 hours away. Kinda a b*tch to go for fittings.
 
It so was!!

Also I passed on the beer & went for a glass of Pomegranate wine, which turns out was gross, so I only drank a few sips. Ended up talking so much that I forgot to get a beer. I did eat 3 slices of cheese pizza, when I was aiming for just two. The guy I was with ate 7! He was picking on me for stopping at 2 & brought me another slice. I wasn't going to eat it, but I absent mindedly picked at it til next thing I knew it was gone! Oops. Funny how you can just eat without thinking.

This weekend has been great.

He is one of those people that eat like twice a day & don't snack & just by being around him, I didn't even want to snack. Course my metabolism isn't anywhere near his so I didn't eat like he did. Stayed on track the rest of the time. Wonder if I can keep it up the rest of the week. Really made me realize how much stress (from work, worrying about life, etc) makes me eat.

Good news is my house smells like lilies, there is a smile on my face & I LOST TWO POUNDS.
 
Man, I remember the days when I used to eat and eat pizza. I bet I could have eaten 7 slices, at least a few months ago. I love pizza, and I worked at a pizza place all thru high school and the beginning of college, it's one of my favorite foods and one that I can get "actual" cravings for. The sad thing is that now when I eat it, it usually makes me sick. Not everytime but, more often then not. I think the grease on some pizza my body just can't handle the same way anymore. I also get heartburn from the sauce, which is sad because it is like my favorite part!:mad:

Stress eating sucks too. I hear ya on that one. I think exercise has been helping me with stress lately. I will go to the gym feeling kind of down or overwhelmed lately, and leave feeling relaxed and productive :) I think it's the runner's high.

Congrats on the two pounds. That is terrific. Your well on your way. We have both lost about 16-17lbs according to our tickers. I can totally see the difference of 16 lbs gone on me, and I'm a big guy :) I can only bet it's a lot more noticeable on you.

I am noticing a difference & it just makes me ready to see even more! Great motivation. I did feel a bit sick after eating the pizza, just thought it was nerves & maybe something going around, but you are probably so right about the grease! I'm not used to that now & it makes sense that my stomach would revolt some. Which makes me some much happier I didn't eat anymore. But I don't think I can ever give up pizza. It certainly is one of the best foods in the world to me.

Ok now off to achieve that runner's high today....



Way to go on those lost lbs! Woohoo. I am not much on pomegranate flavored anything. It simply tastes weird to me.

I love pomegranates & like the juice (the Pom & blueberry juice makes a GREAT drink when you add a lil vodka), but this wine was pretty nasty stuff. At least I can say I tried it.

I see on the 'everyday' thread that you made it below 180!!!! Congratulations!

Yeah... I'm pretty stoked! Just hope it appears again tomorrow.. & the next day.... Then I really will be doing a big ole happy dance! :D

I may have finally broken through that 180 slump & finally joined the 170 club!
 
Well I saw 179 again today! Actually 179.9, but I am sooo counting it anyway!

I am noticing the pants fit better. One thing I am noticing is that put on a ring I haven't worn in a few weeks & it is spinning all around my finger. It used to fit nicely but its very loose now. Guess that is showing the all over progress. Kinda unexpected....
 
Self Reality Check!

AHHHHH!!!!

Amazing how quickly habits can crash!

I haven't even been logging on here for the past bit, much less weighing & working out. Luckily I have gotten to a point where I'm not in the overeating mode as much. I feel awful if I have do eat more than I should & end up feeling stuffed & bloated for a few hours.

BUT IT ALL STARTS AGAIN TODAY.

I'm getting back on track.
I will be walking at least 5000 steps per day.. hopefully many many more.
I will be watching & tracking every bite I take or sip I make.
I will be adding in some dedicated training time to focus on getting ready for the half marathon coming up this January. I have got build up the endurance.

& I will lose a few more pound before I turn 30.

I WILL do this!
 
I sabatoge myself wihtthe basket of kisses as my fund raiser o my desk - you don't want to know how good peanut butter kisses are :) or caramel kisses for that matter :)

The DARK chocolate ones! Yummy...never as a kid could you have told me I would grow up to like dark chocolate, but I have to say at this stage in life, dark kickes the milks butt!

I found the sweetest lil place last night that serves baked "fried" okra! Had to do a happy dance. That is one thing I have been eating lately.. the unhealthy fried version.... that I am soo glad I have found a better version that taste better. Funny how life gives you lil rewards now & then.

I know, right?

I tend to like just about any veggie really.. other than mushrooms. Something about fungus I just don't want in my mouth. Same with Blue cheese.
