Moonbeams Thoughs of the Day

hhmmm. I'm not liking my nubers today:

1802
36%fat (good fat though-olive oil)
11%carb
53%protein

Gonna do lower body today and try to jog my two miles again...

What seems to be the big reasonings for your lower caloric days, time?

Oh and I got nothing but love for ya.

hey MB. I'm just curious what your routine is like for your split. How are your numbers looking? (for weights)

Some of it is time Theleip but mostly it's me...I get full fast and I typycally eat low calorie foods...take my breakfast for example:

1 egg/3 whites
tomato
small whole wheat tortilla

That's only 212 calories according to fiday and I'm stuffed! I really need to add some chicken to the eggs to get the numbers up there.

Obviously with the amount of calories I take I end up not reaching my goals of looking more 'muscular' (for lack of a better term), don't wanna say toned cuz I know how some people hate that term. So I end up looking lean/thin.

Still that is ok. I know what I need to do I need to stop whining and just do it...

Nae, I need to work on getting my numbers up there. I get embarrased when I see other peoples numbers lol (like yours) cuz I think how can they do that? We've talked about my squats...I actually upped it to 12 pound dumbells (on my shoulders) and as measly as it sounds it kills me do to do them correctly. Like Theleip said I need, I almost can't do the last rep...I guess as long as I'm exerting myself that's what counts...I read what some girls use for their squats (50+lbs) I mean, I'm assuming on the machine but still..I probably couldn't even do the bar alone :( LOL

no worries on the numbers MB. I was just curious as you had stated that you hadnt worked out for a few days. i wouldnt be worried about the numbers as long as you are giving it your all.

my numbers dropped a bit after being on vacation but i'll be back to posting them soon.

yeah, I took a whole week off out of pure lazyness, but I picked up where I left off....I'll keep you posted!

Good luck on your numbers. I'll catch up on your diary :)

New Rule #6: The weight you lift is a tool to reach you goals. It is not a goal by itself. (The New Rules of Lifting, by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove, p. 30).

That said - you work with the weights that enable you to complete the goal of your workout. From the sounds of it, you're doing just that. Don't worry, as you keep training those numbers will go up, just be patient.

Peeka a Boo
How are u?:)
