Moonbeams Thoughs of the Day

Yea I'd like a regular soft drink now and then too.
 
This entire week so far and most of last week I did not enter my food intake into my fitday profile--I've been a little lazy about that. But I've been keeping my clean eating in check. Today I've had so far:

Eggs (two hole)
slice of cheese
whole wheat breat slice

grilled salmon salad, no dressing
with lemon

two egg whites
cottage cheese

Not great, I'm thinking my calories are probably low but I haven't gone grocery shopping. Something I normally do on Monday nights, I' have to go today.

Work out today is my lower body...
 
I haven't been posting, much more fun lurking lol. But I have been hitting the gym like crazy now :) I love the way I feel while I'm working out and afterwards too!!

My food has been on track. Clean eating and very little cheating. I do plan on doing a cheat day this Saturday, going out to eat with some friends and I plan on ordering whatever my taste buds desire at the time, without regard for nutritional value, and having a few drinks as well :) Dirty Martinis here I come, woo hoo!! Maybe a little Patron, not that I'm an alcoholic LOL, we're celebrating a birthday so it's ok :cool:

My GF Grill still works! Go figure LOL. I have to be careful when I open it cuz the handle broke off but other than that it's fine...:D

Good to see your workouts are going well and you diet is on track. Enjoy yourself Saturday, you deserve it. :)

Why hello, girl! :D Glad to see you back, and good for you to behave so well outside our radar ;)

Yay!! :D Me and hubby actually hunting for a toaster at the moment ;) Nothing fire me up like hunting for kitchen appliances :D
 
Bad Bad Bad

I had FRIES today--oh forshame!!!

I can't tell you the last time I had fries!! With about a cup of ketchup too :eek:

They were so delicious, it should hold me over for a while now LOL. Went out to eat with some coworkers, started out good, ordered grilled chicken with a salad on the side but then the fries came and I couldn't help it.

It was like trying them for the first time, I was hypnotized! Ok, cheating is over:cool:
 
I always wait so long to post. I've been keeping my eating/working out regiment. I changed my workouts slightly and I'm glad I did. I was sore all week, I think it's good to shock my body so I don't hit and stay on a plateau.

I def. need today to rest, it's supposed to be my day off from lifting but not from cardio BUT I'm going skiing tomorrow and it usually ends up being an all day thing...I need fresh legs for it.

Ok, it's been WAAAY too long since I've posted on my own diary (since I've been such a big mouth on other people's) I decided to post.

It's been 5 weeks since my last workout and it's killing me not being able to ARGGGG!!!! I'm gonna see if I can at least work on some cardio or do some non-weight moves like lunges and squats until I get the green light to lift :mad: .

I've kept my diet in check though, lowering my calorie intake since I've been a lazy butt all this time.
 
YAY for you posting!! I forget exactly, but I remember you did have surgery right? Either way I always love your thoughts on matters -you know that ;)
 
yes shellsy, and I got the green light to at least do non-weighted excercises!! Letting my body dictate, I'm going to start tomorrow :)
 
FINALLY, I went to the gym last night. It felt great! I did lunges, butt bridges and dead lifts--all without weights (3x12). But it felt great non-the-less.

I also did some arm work with 8 pounders (the smallest they have at my gym) and some calf raises (sitting) (3x12). It was a short little workout. Only about 30 minutes but they (Dr) told me to take it easy, I may do some light cardio today...

Wow. I'm actually sore! Yikes, that's scarily sad LOL. I didn't want to work out last night but I made myself. I felt good afterwards. I'm working out again today and I'm taking Fri/Sat off then starting up again on Sunday :)
 
(sigh) I used to be SO good at posting. I've gotten lazy.

I'm still doing full body workouts right now. I'll start spliting up my routine again in the next few weeks (maybe 4)

I love that it's warmer now and I can go hiding/running outside. There's a place here in town that I love going to, two miles up/two down--you get a view of the entire city when you reach the top:). It takes me about an hour to do the whole thing if I walk briskly. About 45 minutes if I run part of the way up hill and the whole thing down. I haven't been able to run the entire way up yet.

That will be my goal this summer, to be able to run the two miles, it's quite steep and last summer I was walking the first mile and running the second and the two on the way down.

Foodwise I've been staying close to what I was doing before. I haven't entered my %s into fitday but I'm estimating them to be be 40ish pretein, carbs and fats in the 30s/20s respectively.

Today: Full body workout/ 20 minutes light-moderate cardio :)
