Moobs Diary

Well after having a great session at the gym on Monday I woke up the next morning with a limp.I was probably trying to do too much too soon and only have myself to blame for the shin splints.I’m going to go and get fitted with the right sort of trainers on Saturday.Hopefully this will help.

Yesterday’s cals 2280 ,went a bit over target because I was feeling sorry for myself :nopity:.Legs were alright this morning though and I made it to the gym and did 30 min on the X trainer followed by walking 1k on the treadmill plus the walk back and fore the gym which totals 3K.I will probably stick to the X trainer for the rest of the week as long as my shins are ok in the morning anyway.
So still plodding on I’ll update later with today’s calories.
 
Well I got fitted with some new trainers on Saturday(Asics 1130).So hopefully I will be set to start running again.I have enjoyed using the X trainer in the meantime and if the calorie counter is anywhere near accurate then I will have burned plenty of calories.I completely ballsed up the diet on Saturday and my weight is up 4 lb.So it will take me a few days to shed the extra water.I will have to be more careful how far I dig deep into my reserves with the exercise and not cause myself to break the diet because of tiredness.I reckon that if I had bought a few bananas to eat when I was out shopping on Saturday I wouldn’t have broken the diet in such big style.Oh well I will try and learn from that.A banana in time saves nine(or 29 as the case may be).

Bannana's are great for dieting but the best advantage of them is they are instant source of energy. If your feeling low on energy go for a bannana as this should provide you with a quick fix. Also apples are good for calming down an appetite.

I’m having too many off days at the moment .As of tomorrow I am going to knuckle down and stick to the diet every day for the next week.it’s a shame I am struggling with the diet because the exercise is going really well and I am enjoying it.

I’m going to update my diary every day even if it is just to log my calories and training as I felt this was helping me at the start and I will set a short term goal of 2lb a week for the next 6 weeks.I hope this will help me to focus.

Yes John I think I will try using a strategic piece of fruit here and there to help stop my motivation flagging.

Diet went down the pan unfortunately.We went out for a meal and for some reason this makes me want to eat everything in sight when I get home.I will need to learn how to deal with this situation better in future.I think going for the roast potatoes is a no no next time.
 
Diary entry's are very helpfull. The best thing is that you can look back at the bad days when your feeling low and think well today is still a bad day but i've lost ** lb from that. It's can be very motivational, try and put as much as you can in.

another day off the diet today.I came back from the gym feeling great but within 10 min I was feeling wiped out.I ate my porridge straight away but within the hour I was in tesco buying crap.I will put that one down to being overtired and hope to learn from it .

Well I am having plenty of bad days at the moment.I will have to try and learn from them and try to avoid them.
 
I find help in my own diary. I write down bad days and I write down good days. And when I'm having a bad day I look at one of my good day posts and think back how good I felt. Usually works, although I've not really had a bad day yet I know that there will probably be one on the way quite soon.

Things are not going well at the moment John.I have been starting each day with the full intention of sticking to the diet but then failing .Its suprising really because things were going well.All I can do is start each day with good intentions and hopefully it will fall back into place soon.I have been feeling tired all week and haven't been to the gym.So that's the first thing I need to get sorted and get myself back to the gym on Monday and try and get one good day under my belt.
 
I certainly know what you mean by feeling tired. I'd try an plan the night before what your going to have to eat and what you will do at the gym and try and stick to it. Like you say it will hopefully fall in place. Once you get going you have to keep pushing at it.

Anyway welcome back bud. Tomorrow is going to be the day where things will start to change for the better.
