Hawaii Weekly Wokout Update

So far so good here in Hawaii!! Getting in lots of Cardio!

Monday:
Rest Day

Tuesday:
30 min Swim/Snorkel

Wednesday:
65 min Brisk Walk along the beach (3 miles)

Thursday:
Walk outdoors 65 min = 3 miles
Treadmill 30 min= 1.4 miles
Indoor bike 30 min = 5.2 miles
Swim/snorkel 45 min

Friday:
Crossramp 30 min = 2.0 miles
Treadmill 30 min = 1.2 miles
Indoor Bike 60 min = 10.5 miles

Saturday:
Swim/Snorkel 60 min

Sunday:
Rest Day

Monday:
Walk Outdoors 60 min = 3.0 miles
Indoor Bike 37 min = 5.0 miles
weights (Arms) 8 sets (8 reps each)
Ab Ball (2 sets of 8)
 
I think the benefits of organic are many. I was talking to my personal trainer and I truly believe that most of us don't get enough protein. You can actually get enough protein not eating animal meats, but it's very hard. You have to eat a massive quantity of pulses to do so and even things like tofu don't have enough protein unless you eat them in massive quantities. I definitely feel better eating a higher percentage of protein than say, WW recommends but I ofset it by increasing my fibre. I had a massive surprise when I discovered the foods I thought had a lot of fibre (broccoli for example) don't have as much as I thought they did!

I love protein shakes, so if I ever do manage to cut back on my meat consumption, I need not worry. I was reading that women only need about 1 serving of meat a day (3oz portion) or 2 at most. Hardly anything! I need to do more research to find out how much i need to eat since I am training for a triathlon and half marathon.

I miss having a personal trainer, they rock!!
 
Monday Update:

Yesterday I ate like a pig! OMG did I have some serious munchies! If any of you are ever in Hawaii, there is this restaurant called Cheeseburgers In Paradise, and they make some serious chili cheese fries! Mmmmm

I worked out today to make up for it, since I know I did some major damage.

Going to take it easy today so I don't blow my weigh in this week.

I did not bring my scale to Hawaii, so I will have to wait until Wednesday to weigh in when I get home.

I see a difference in my body in the mirror, so I am hoping to see it on the scale. My jellybelly looks smaller and I am noticing my curves are more pronounced by my hips. I'm starting to look more hour glass shaped versus looking like an apple. LOL

I want fries now! Wait... I had some yesterday :Angel_anim: Fries and gravy, YUM! I mean.. bad BAD! At least I didn't eat them all, thank god, because it was a huge portion, LOL.
 
Its so awesome that your still getting regular gym time in in HAWAII! I'm pretty sure I'd be a big ole ball of lazy and sit in a chaise all day long. lol. Ok, maybe not THAT lazy, but I wouldn't put it past me ;) TOTALLY lovin the pics you've been posting on fb! Taken with a phone even.. just amazing. If I took pics of MT, everyone would laugh at me, lol. They'd be all gray and boring like. psh. :rolleyes: Make your last day of vacay realllly count!! :)

Mmm, never had fries with gravy! I did the same thing, the portion was huge, so I ate half for dinner, and the other half the next day for lunch. They were so good. Big steak fries that were seasoned, topped with chili beans, cheese, and onions!

I had to indulge since I am here, but when I get back no more for a while!!

LOL! When I am not exercising, that is what I've been doing, sitting on my ass in the bed reading, or on the deck in a chair. I tend to prefer laying in the king size bed with pillows propped up.

I have so much free time that I have to do some cardio or I will start getting cramps from sitting around! LOL

Enjoying my last day so far. getting ready to go hit the gym one last time and work it.
 
Tuesday Update:

Feeling ready to return home. I am nice and relaxed. Funny how I actually had a bad dream about work that made me so angry it woke me up. Guess my body knows it's time to get back to the grind.

I really spent the week setting some goals and trying to figure out what I am doing to do the next 6 months to better my life. My birthday is in a little over a week, so it's a good time to give the gift of health and reach for my goals.

I am off in a bit to hit the gym for one last cardio session. I would do some exercise outside but don't feel like putting on sunscreen. I'm an albino!! The sunscreen is making my face break out something crazy!! Ugh!!
 
Its pretty dang impressive that you made time to work out while on vacation in HAWAII! That and you still manage the club challenge (which is GREAT btw!). You're a pillar of this WLF community, and just know it doesn't go unnoticed! :waving:

Oh yea, and im watching you pink team! Won't sneak up on me again!

LOL! Thanks Andy! I too was impressed with my workouts while on Vacation.

I'm going to do my best to sneak away!! You're in 3rd place right now, gotta get the wheels burning over here!! Vroom Vroom!!! LOL

Awe, Happy Birthday!! Mine is next week!! Not wanting to be a year older! ugh!!

Cleaning house is a great goal!! I hear that a messy, cluttered, hoarding, disorganized house can contribute to weight gain, so clean away!! Not saying yours is that bad, but I did read that when you clean up and get rid of things life is less stressful which results in weight loss!

Thursday Update:

Flew in last night, got home around 10pm. Ended up going through a drive thru to get a meal, since airlines are really cutting back and I had no dinner.

Woke up bloated this morning with a salt hangover. Ugh

Weight myself, and to my surprise, no weight loss!! I worked out soo much in Hawaii and nothing!! boooo!!

I'm hoping that I'm bloated with water weight from all the salt I ate yesterday and from being trapped on the plane next two a pair of sleeping old people for over 5 hours. My feet were swollen up.

I've got some major work to do this week!! I need to show some loss on the scale or else!
 
Holy MJ; my brother had the candida condition on account of his severe allergies and he lost a ton of weight on that strict diet. I'd be willing to try it with you so I'm going to look in detail at the info you provided - thanks for that. I've suspected it since my brother was told and I can identify with several symptoms (bloating, hypoglycemia, depression in particular).

Okay, I'm doing research over the wknd and may start this as soon as Monday girlfriend. THANKs for posting this!

Is there any way you can post the diet just so people can see what it is you're doing and then decide if they want to do it? Just curious. I don't know if I'd want to go on something too strict though, but it would be worth a look.
