Miss Ladybugs Diary

Congrats on fitting into old skirts! :hurray: I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised when you hop on the scales. ;)

You just aren't old enough to have sons graduated from high school! :D Or at least, you sure don't LOOK old enough. :) I agree with you that your son shouldn't stress about choosing the wrong career, etc. This is the time for him to try different things that interest him and enjoy himself. There is plenty of time to figure things out. The important thing is to stay active and work at something..lol. There are so many things that interest me, I still don't know what I wanna be when I grow up! :smilielol5:

:reddevil: arrived for me today, and I was as happy as you were..lol. I want to get him over and done with for the most part before our vacation.

How awesome that you can fit into old clothes! I have mine hanging up and waiting for me. My nice pair of jeans that I've never actually worn, and a few capri's. The chocolate cravings a killer for me the first day of Ant Flow. Have an excellent night!

You sure stay busy these days.

Awesome for you that you are fitting into old favorite work clothes. That is a super wonderful feeling. I have a pair of jeans I have been saving for YEARS. I can get them on now, but I have enough muffin top to feed a medium-sized semi-starving country. BUT-the important thing to focus on here is that I CAN get them on...zipped and buttoned. I just won't be wearing them in front of anyone except my bathroom mirror!

I hope you are well and happy and loving the new job.

hey there Kim :)
just stopping by to see how are things. great for getting into old clothes. hopefully i'll be able to do the same pretty soon.
big hug to you

It is brilliant that you are getting into those skirts that have been waiting for you to reduce into them. That is so much more satisfying than any number on a scale could ever be - but I am sure that the number on the scale will be good - you always hit the gym in such a big way that it is bound to be burning a whole heap of calories every time that you go.

Hello everyone!
I've been busy with the new job, and now with getting are land in summer order, like removing all the limbs that fell under trees after our major ice storm in Jan, and getting the pool ready, now that was a task and a half, we moved it around so it faces another direction and well it took several weekends to get it done, woooooo it's hard work. We got all our veggie and fruit beds planted however, we discovered we have about 5 bunnies who now have found them and we had to fence around each one, OIY!! Always something right guys. Also, I spent a Saturday at my best friends house getting her yard up to par since her hubby had back surgery 3 weeks ago and she couldn't get any of it done. She lives out in the country also, she was so happy after we finished it just made my day! She had this huge stone fountain we had to move and my hubby got it all hooked up for her, and one of my sons got on the tractor and did some dirt work for her, it was a great weekend. Yesterday the H and I got up and started on the pool with it's first vacuum and we realized the pump wasn't working right, so today we are going into town to get parts and I need to buy a new hose for the vacuum, CHA-CHING, ALSO our projection tv is having issues it's only about 5-6 yrs old, so we have a tv repair guy coming out to fix it, and to make things worse, we had a storm the night before last and it knocked our phone line out, and it just came back on. I'm so worn out on things breaking around me, LOL LOL One good thing, me and the H are going to Eureka Springs for 4th of July, YEAH!! I rented another B&B cottage at that same location and I can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh it's been awhile since we have been anywhere so I'm ready for it. Well, the weight is staying good, and I'm still working out either at the gym or in yard work, so I'm pleased with myself on that, I still haven't weighed in, so I should do that in the morning. I better get going I have to head to town. Thanks everyone for stopping by and wishing me well, I'm doing good, just REALLY BUSY!! Hugs and love everybody!
Kim

It certainly sounds like you have been busy.
The forthcoming short holiday sounds like lots of fun.
Good luck at the scales for when you get round to weighing. It should go well with all that exercise (be it in the gym or taking care of your property).

Take care
Love
Margaret

Oh my gosh, Kim, I need a nap just from reading your past. You are so busy it makes ME tired! At least you are busy doing productive things that you are enjoying. Have fun on your weekend trip away with your husband.

Whah! I'm so jealous that you and Amy are meeting up probably as I type this. :D

Glad things are going well for you--even if you are busy. That was sweet of you and your family to help your friend out. I'm sure she was grateful.

We've been having storms here, too. Had quite a bit of turbulance when our plane landed the other night. I hope it isn't too bad the rest of the summer. :)

Unfortunately our plans for a babysitter fell through and I won't be meeting up with Kim and her H this weekend. Kim, if you read this before I get a chance to call you, I'm so sorry. I promise I'll come to OK sometime soon to see you!!

Have a good short holiday. I'm sorry that your and Amy's meetup plans had to change. Am sure you will have a great time anyway.

I'm Really here!

Okay everyone I really haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I've been extremely busy trying to get things in order around the house and the new job and with my sons, it's all been a crazy blurrrrr..... But worth it! I love my home, I love my new job and I love my family, so I guess it's all good! Okay, this is the scoop on my weight loss the past two months. I have been going to the gym normally until two weeks ago, I started only going 2 days a week, then coming home and swimming laps in the pool each night, so I haven't slacked off any, just trying to get all the pool time in I can since we all know that only lasts about 3 months then it's time to close it up for the winter. Our temps have been in the 100's since July 17th or actually today we broke that record and it was in the low 90's THANK GOSH! I'm growing a ton of cucumbers, watermelon and cantaloupe, and the tomatoes, well they don't like this heat, so hopefully they will start turning red soon, I can't wait!

On the weight loss, I truly think I've lost a few pounds, but I can't say for sure as I haven't stepped on the scale for a month, but.. my clothes from way back are starting to fit, and I guess that's a great sign in my eyes, it's nice to finally have a closet full of work clothes again, YEAH! There is this lady at my work, she is the accountant for our program, well we have become good friends, and we both started on the weight watchers point system this past week, she lost a pound, YEAH and I think I lost a few myself. I really started it for her, as I wanted to get her out of her slump and motivated, and it's working, she is so excited I have her focused again, and so am I.

Everything else is going well, I'm getting ready to take vacation the first part of September and HOPEFULLY Amy will be able to joins us at that time, or at least I'm praying we all meet up then, it's been a long time coming. Well, I better get around some diary's I miss everyone and really need to get up to speed. Hope everyone is doing well. Love and Hugs!!!
Kim

Glad to see you post. I must say, you sound really happy and that is wonderful. I am happy for you! Good for you on encouraging a co-worker into a healthier life.

My tomatoes are certainly not happy with the heat either. They are being incredibly stubborn.

Well, I am glad you are happy and healthy and still on track. Yay for old clothes fitting!

Thanks Tiff for stopping in and saying HI!!

Today, I'm currently having a cup of java and waiting for the Satellite guy to come out and find out why we keep losing signal. We were out for two days now, but all of a sudden this morning the HD signal is up and working, but the regular channels, NADA! Hey twin! Glad to see you back around! What's with the OK weather?? Terrible winters AND summers?? At least in Michigan we get awesome summers to make up for the miserable winters..lol I think that's all the more reason to make an extended visit to me next summer. :biggrinjester:

I see you've been eating lots of berries--so have I. Me loves me berries. :drool5:

Happy to see you're happy and living a good life. Congrats on the clothes fitting better.
