Good luck with the car hunt. Kids just have a way of reorganzing your plans don't they?
 
Hey 2nd Miss Hotness!! It was HARD, SWEATY, LONG, and worth every second. LOL LOL

I'm not sure if I'll make it to Kickboxing tonight, as Aunt Flo is close to the house and if she shows up, NO WAY will I be doing it. We will have to wait and see.

I've been busy, busy, busy! Now I'm currently seeking a car for my son, I hate CAR SHOPPING! SUCKS!

I'm eating well, working out hard and trying to do my best! I hope to see at least a little loss by Friday. YEAH!

I have to agree with you! But thank goodness we are paying cash, so we won't have to fiddle with the haggling and so forth. If they don't accept what we say we can give in cash that day, then they lose out in my opinion. I hate salesman!!!! LOL LOL
 
I agree--car shopping sucks--unless you've got lots of money to spend..lol. Then I'm sure it's lots of fun, but I've never had lots to spend, so I wouldn't know. :rofl:

I'm not sure if there are any near by where you live, but Hubby and I purchased a new car from CarMax last year and it was the easiest most pleasant car buying experience ever. I would recommend checking them out, tho I'm not familiar with their used car dept.

Been catching up on you. Hope things are ok because you havent posted here for a few days.

I was pleased to see that you survived the challenge. I must admit that I was a bit worried for you there when I saw Shannon's postings last week on the weigh every day club. I have to say that I was equally concerned for my own team though because I personally had over a 8 pound gain for a while last week.

I am sorry that the scales have been messing with you and not giving you the losses that you deserve since that megaloss of 5 pounds. My weight hasnt gone down in the last two and a bit weeks. It is really annoying when you do everything that you can think of and dont seem to get nearer goal.

I must admit that I was pleased to hear that your belt is fastening better though.

When are you going to get those photos for your husband? That poor lad is still waiting for his birthday present.

Sorry to hear that you are having to get a car sorted out. I agree with Kimberly - your son will be more responsible if he is having to contribute at least a proportion towards maintenance. It isnt that young people are irresponsible - just the idea that their money is disappearing helps to focus their attention that the money has to be earned.

I hope that you are fine and just rushed off your feet getting that up and running.

Contratulations on the loss during the challenge by the way. 13 pounds over 8 weeks is pretty good going when you are deep into a long term project as we are.

Hey dove, I hope you didn't get hit with those tornados that are all over the news. When I heard OK, AR, MO and GA I started worrying about you, Amy, Amber and Paul. Hope you and your family are all safe and snug. :grouphug:
