You girls are to sweet! Thanks for the love! I know he thinks I'm attractive, but he's blind. LOL LOL No, all kidding a side, I just want to look the best I can and I'm not quite there yet. This is strange, I came into work today and one of the guys said "Up, down, up, down" I was like huh??? he said your hair, and I laughed, I do wear it up and then down all the time, I get bored easy. I twist it up, pony it, bun it, or hot roll it and wear it down, or blow it straight or just wear it slightly damp with little wavy curls in it, that's how I had it yesterday and he said, " I like it down" In my mind I'm thinking, "say what? does that mean your checking me out"? but I didn't say it, but I guess it's nice to know people notice those things, as I never really think about it myself. LOL LMAO!! He is also in a weight loss challenge with his gym, and he told me this morning he wishes I would have teamed up with him, because we probably would have won. He said WOW Kim I have seen big changes in you over the past 6 months, that made me feel good. No ladies he's not hitting on me, he's married and they just had a baby 8 months ago, he's the bosses son -in-law so I'm most certain he wouldn't do that. LOL LOL Just to assure you ladies I do work in a very excellent environment even though it's all men. LOL LOL I consider myself lucky, working with women sucks! it's to hard in my opinion.

Last night great night!!
I had for food yesterday: 1C mini wheats, 1C 1% milk-breakfast 290 calories
lunch: Slim fast shake ( I consider these my protien shake) 190 calories
dinner: two small corn tortillas- 140 calories total
1/2 C ranch style beans- 160 calories
1oz cheese- 260 calories
1C lettuce- 40 calories
1 small romane tomato-38 calories
2TBS salsa- not sure
1/4C chopped onions

2cups jave in morning
Spritz of canola oil on the tortilla (used my pampered chef spritzer)

TOTAL: roughly give or take 1200
And girls I WAS FULL!! those tacos were awesome!

Today so far I'm eating RIGHT NOW 2 packets Oatmeal: 300 calories
Lunch: Slim Fast- 190 calories
Dinner probably same as above

I will be busting my ass at the gym tonight as the last night workout before weigh in, I hope to burn at least 400-500 easy tonight, I'll probably do circuit training for weights, and run on the elliptical and ride the bike 8 miles, that's my normal Thursday!

I also think your H sounds like the type of man that loves you for you and is attracted to you regardless. But I dont blame you for wanting to get to a size you feel comfortable in, as we all do. I heard in Amy's diary that the belt is now even looser! Awesome news girlie :).
 
Yeah, I was really happy to see I could easily put it on the 6th notch down, when I started this I could just use the 1st notch, so something is working,even though it's taken just about a year.
 
mmm, those tacos sound yummo! I may try them this weekend. You and I are about the same weight right now! We can keep each other motivated to keep busting our asses at the gym and with the calories.

Did your H like the pics you had made for him?
 
Girlfriend, I haven't received them back yet, I need to meet up with my friend and get them real soon, I feel so bad, but I haven't had time to meet with her, it's been busy around here the past few weeks.

YES, and sometimes you can exchange those tacos with black beans instead of the ranch style beans. Also, I think my H bought some sour cream a month ago that was low calorie, and honestly it was good, I was surprised, I need to find that again and use it! I think it was 30 calories for 2 Tbsp and that is good!

I hope we kick some major BOO-HOO this week, I so want to blow out the doors this time, another 5lbs would just put me at that mark. LOL Okay, I'll go for 1 pound and be happy with it. YEAH!! I'm going to work it out tonight, and cross my fingers that helps!
 
Oh My Gosh!!!!! Really??

I mean what the hell else do I need to do to lose weight. My body has me freaking scratching my head with amazement. I pulled out ALL the stops this week, I was extremely cautious about my calorie intake, I ate NO carbs, NO sweets and really put it to it at the gym, shit last night I busted ass on the step climber and burned about 150 calories, then I went straight to the bike and shot through 8 miles in 34 minutes it said I burned 520 calories on that ride, then I went upstairs and ran on the track. UNFRIGGEN believable, you would think maybe a 2-3 pound loss this week?? NO, NO FRIGGEN way my body is going to give it to me, I lost one lousy ass pound, yeah well I can easily wake up in the morning and see that back on, I mean COME ON!!! Okay check this, I lost around my calves, my boots are not even staying up on them anymore. My stomach is looking flatter and my bras are getting bigger around again, so I know I'm shrinking, but really 1 pound. What, do I need to become a rabbit and eat veggies 24/7 and workout every day to get where I want to be?? THAT'S IT! I'm done with this RANT, I'm DONE with Bitching about my hardship as if it really is a big deal, I know so many of you out there have it 20 times worse than I do, So on that note I'll shut my black hole and get busy working on the next week. Needless to say, I'm pissed today, and I plan on going after work and finding a nice bottle of red and at least enjoying that tonight!! UGG!!! I've got to go before I pop a gasket!!:cuss::smash:

MLB, if you only knew how envious I am of your well-deserved one pound loss! That is real measurable progress that will get you where you want to be in a short time. You're shrinking down and people and your belt are noticing. I would give anything for that. You work hard and it IS paying off.

While you may gain back the 1 pound, a new low is a new low. If that's a number you haven't hit in years, then it means you actually and truly lost some fat. Of course your weight is bound to flutuate upward, but it will go up less than before and it will come back down to your new lower weight. Big congrats girl!

I was thinking, have you been taking your measurements? SInce you have been hitting gym perhaps you are gaining so much muscle that it is offsetting your loss a bit since it weighs so much more than fat. Maybe taking measurements would help you benchmark your achievements.

One other thing I was thinking is that I have read some people have certain food intolerances that even though it may not be significant calorie wise (whatever intolerance is) it can crush your metabolism and when you rid yourself of that (finding it is tricky I hear) then it all falls into place. Perhaps the week you lost 5lbs there was something different in your diet you can trace back. I only mention because I went to a weight loss seminar my work held and there was a lady talking about hiring personal trainer working heard for over a year with next no progress, finally they figured out she has some intolerances (through testing etc), she eliminated those things and she lost alot weight.

Anyway I do think a lb is really good and the toning is excellent so kepe up the good work and enjoy the wine---you deserve it!
 
Thank you Mom 2 for the sound advise! I'll consider digging deeper into what I ate last week versa this week. I can only think that two of those nights I had those corn/tacos with beans and lettuce and tomato, that's the ONLY thing different I ate. And well I didn't throw in any sour cream or hamburger, just beans and I measured it out to the T, so I didn't go over my calories. Strange if corn tortillas are going to screw me up, I'm going to be pissed! Maybe it was the damn FIBER! I had A LOT of Fiber this week, UH HUH! that could have done it!! now that I think of it. I HAD mini wheats for breakfast loaded with fiber, then all those beans for dinner. CRAP! I love beans! Okay, this next week, it's back to fresh veggies, chicken and fruit. DAMN, DAMN, DAMN :banghead:
 
Oh poor Kim! I am so sorry you didn't lose more, you really deserved it. You worked your ass off this week.

Been there . . .. done that. I am experiencing similiar issues myself. I looked back at my diary and found there were times when I was doing ALL THE RIGHT THINGS . . + some, and either no loss, or a minimal loss. What I did then, and will do now . . and advise you to do is just keep going. Eventually your scale HAS to catch up.

I know its frustrating when the scale dosnt reflect all the hard work, but keep going . . this too shall pass! Keep in mind all the great things you have done and continue to do to become more healthy and focus on that.

If you ever watch Biggest Loser, you'll notice they rarely have 2 good weeks in a row. If they lose a lot one week, the next week they'll lose next to nothing (comparatively speaking). I dont think you did a thing wrong nor should you mess with a good thing. If you're losing, that's a good thing. Stick to the beans for sure!
 
I agree with Cita. 5lbs was AWESOME last week, so basically you have lost 6lbs in two weeks. That's friggin amazing!
 
You girls make me smile! thanks everyone! I forgot to tell you I'll be home anytime after 6, so what time do you want me to call you?? I'll be enjoying a nice glass of merlot if I'm lucky! LOL LOL, don't worry I'll be lucky! My H was on TV this morning, ahhhh he looked so cute! He did a little blurb on his football team. Tonight he has some football practice or meeting, not sure, so again I'm home alone. WAH!!! I like it, of course!

You know, I'm not sure if it's online or not, I'll have to go look, I DVR'D it so he can watch himself later tonight. They had one of the OU football players on there, who is now on the Baltimore Ravens NFL team, he was on before my hubby, and my H is going to his benefit charity dinner tonight, so that's why I'm left in the dust. OH YEAH more football. LOL LOL don't get me wrong, I love football, but at this time of year, I'm done!
