Don't worry. I didn't lose anything this week. I'm sick of this crap. 2 days ago I was down like... 1/2 pound. Now its here again. I just don't get it! I think I've decided to stop looking at the scale so much

I'm so with you on the not looking at the scale, it's so discouraging sometimes! It's only due to me being in the challenge that I get on it each week right now, after it's over I'm not going to get on but once a month. I HATE THAT THING!:smash:
 
1lb is great--especially after your mammoth loss last week. Don't get down, sweetie. You're losing inches as well---and that's always a great sign, better than the scale, really. :)

Thanks Twin for the encouraging words, trust me I so can use them!! I'm heading to the gym right now to do a little running on the elliptical and my 1 hour group jam class, they are launching new songs with new moves tonight, so I can't miss it!! I'm not doing circuit training as my H thought it would be a bad idea since I think I pulled something last week trying to bust it to hard, I've had this knot in the upper part of my back for 3 days, OUCH! it feels a tiny bit better each day, but it still hurts. I drank a lot of water today, and I'm hoping to get another 20 oz down before the end of the day. I'll be doing the road block and can't wait to eat that concoction, it sounds okay!! You know I'm for taking one for the team. YEAH!!!

I hope to get by some diary's tomorrow, it's been one heck of a busy Monday.

You and all the other ladies have inspired me to up my exercise! My plan this week is 5 days of 45 min of cardio + 2 strngth training.

Thanks Sammy!! My back is getting a little better each day, I think I just over did it on the strength training the other day, I'm giving myself a few days off the weights, I hope it works!! LOL Should be fine! Hope your doing well!

Hello Laureelee!!! Welcome in! Thanks for the Congrats! I work very hard and most the time for little results, but hey it's worth it, at least in the past year I've lost weight and not put on any, so it's all good! Luckily I enjoy cardio A LOT! or I would have probably quit a long time ago. Controlling my eating habits and cutting off the carbs is my daily struggle, I have to really try hard to stay on track, but when I do it pays off, so I just keep going forward and working at, it's a never ending battle, but one certainly worth fighting for. I'll skim by your diary later gator!

Well, it's been ONE OF THOSE DAYS! Yeah you all know what I'm talking about........ Started off pretty good, I got up in time, I felt alright, but then... that dreaded phone call about 20 minutes before I'm ready to walk out the door. It's my son, "Mom, my car stopped working, and I'm stuck on the side of the road", DAMN, DAMN, DAMN alright, I'll be there in about 10 minutes. Scrambled to get myself together, then drove a few miles from my home, granted you all know I live in the country, UGG! there he was all broken down, I felt bad, but that didn't last long, as I found out he had his oil real low and probably fried the engine! I have to go in a few hours and have it towed, a great 55.00 bucks. I just paid my taxes that drained everything I had, and now I might have to buy a new engine or car, OIY!! :banghead::nopity:

I noticed my boss incorrectly marked a box on my W-2, DAMN, DAMN again!:dupe: what was he thinking?? luckily it isn't a box that is going to change any numbers or anything, it was basically the one that you choose the type of employee I am, like statuary or independent and so forth, it should have been left blank but he marked a box by mistake. Come on, you've been doing my W-2's for how long and this time you choose something, UGGG!!!
Right now I just feel like locking myself in my bedroom and telling everyone to leave me alone for about a week. I'm so worn out! I know it could be worse, as least he wasn't in an accident, so I do have that to be grateful for and so much more! Please don't misunderstand, I'm so very blessed and grateful, I just woke up on the WRONG side of the bed this morning, and I really need to go take a nap and try to get up on the RIGHT SIDE soon.!

On another note, I worked out really hard at the gym last night, my new group jam class was HOT! it was like being at a dance club, we HIp-Hop for an hour it was GREAT!!!!! I also ran on the elliptical before then and burned it said 425 calories, I ran on it as I always do. Not sure if I'll make it to the gym tonight or not, for certain I'll be there on Wed for another 2 hours. Well, I better get gettin, or I won't get ANYTHING done before I leave work today.

Your son is 18--time he bought his own car/paid for his own repairs--or at least chips in his share. I had to since I was 16. It'll teach him more responsibility--he won't let the oil get low again, trust me.
 
Thanks Twin! it just got worse as the day went by, but I'm okay now what is done is done and we just go forward that's all we can do. My son needs another car, so we will be looking into that this weekend. Luckily he has enough friends who drive that he should be good to go for the remainder of the week.

On the weight loss front, I have ate good all week long so far except for this afternoon when I went out for lunch to grab something quick with one of the brokers and bought a grilled chicken fajita salad, in which I had no idea it came with refried beans in it, OIY! I probably ate 1/4 to 1/2 a cup, so I probably ate well over my allotted calories for lunch, which lately haven't been more than 200. Soooooo what does this mean?? It means I need to bust ass at the gym tonight, which I planned on doing anyways, and I really have to eat super light for dinner, which I think I can handle.

In about 30 minutes I'll head over to the gym for group Jam that's 1 hour long, then maybe I'll take Group Flow or Group Vibe, like I did last week, and I felt so good after I was done. I just need to focus on water, water, water as I'm certain I'm retaining a little right now, plus all the fiber I've been eating from all those beans is getting to me and I'm totally airy to say the least. :sifone:

Well, I better get going I have some last minute stuff to finish up. You all have a great evening.

I'm sorry to hear about the car troubles MLB :). You may recall my engine blew up last summer too, and it is very upsetting and unexpected. Buying another car is no small thing when it hasn't even been budgeted. Well you've done the right thing in not dwelling on it, and that's one of the reasons we love you so much. Hope this message finds you feeling great!

Once dh checked off a box that wasn't supposed to be checked off (it was done electronically, so it was an easy mistake.) Well we ended up having to pay a whole year of taxes at once! That was not a good feeling at all.

Hope tomorrow is a better day for ya!
 
Uggg . . car troubles. Here's hoping it's not as bad as needing an entire engine replacement.

The new class sounds like fun! I love dancing, tho I prob look ridiculous when I do . . but who cares?!!

I finally got 5 minutes I'll go post right now, and OH MY WORD those beans, I'm so bloated I feel like one of those blow fish, all puffed up from gas. But, on a good note, my hubby tasted it and liked it too. GO FIGURE! I doubled the recipe so they could have some as well. It needs ham or bacon in my opinion, but that's to much fat in my book.

Still bloated? My gas passed the day after I finished eating all of it. :rofl: (Yes, I'm like a teenage boy with my fart jokes!)

Yeah, I agree that some bacon would really make it nice. My H thought it would be good with some fish.

Maybe that's why Nelson Mandela's wife divorced him after he got out of prison--couldn't take the gas from all the umngqusho he was always eating....lmao

We might not make it to the next round as it doesn't look like we had a great weight loss week, but no biggie!!! If we don't make it this time, we will just join the next challenge and go for it then. A person can only do what their bodies allow and well I think our team mates worked it out as hard as they could each week, so I'm very proud of all of you!! I'm tired and not working out tonight, my girlfriend has invited me over for some wine and conversation, so I'm so up for that you have no idea!! Tomorrow, busy, busy, busy looking for a car for my son, Not what I really wanted to do for on my Saturday off. Well, EVERYONE have a fantabulous weekend, and try to get in some exercise, I know I will!!
