AHHHH Thanks Bell!! I hope I can actually do something in this challenge the last two have just not worked out at all, winter is such a tough time around here for challenges, hard to get to the gym every day when our weather sucks, luckily it's getting better so I'll be there rain or shine! Just no ice!!

Thank you VERY MUCH!! I try to keep an upbeat personality that's the only way I can plug on through without talking myself out of going to the gym. LOL LOL some days it's just plain hard to get myself there, but I do it most the time.

Good morning! Hope you are having a good day and not too tough at work! Great workout and food choices! I love sweet potatoes (just plain) they are soo good!

Hey Beth! Yeah the weather is very very slowly getting warmer and it's about time!! My daffodil bulbs are already coming up, so it better stay that way! LOL I love sweet potatoes, and I'll choose them over regular any day of the week. mmmm

I'm glad to know I"m not alone. I woke up feeling like I was hit by a truck, I'm still majorly dragging...tom didn't cross my mind till just now, thats probably the deal.

AHHH A Nap would be perfect, but I doubt I would get any work done, and well I have to make that money sister to pay those bills you know how that goes. HAHAHAHA I'll go to bed early tonight and since tomorrow is Saturday my sweet cheeks get to sleep in, which in my house is usually until 8-9am. LOL My hubby is an early riser and always up by 7 even on the weekends, CRAZY MAN!!! he must be nuts~ LOL LOL yeah he is he married me didn't he. LOL LOL
 
I know I was being funny I took Twekwondo with my sons for some time, it was real good for me! I looked really good when I was doing it, and there were no karate chops either, a lot more flexibility and other movements. LOL LOL I wish I would have stayed in it also, but my sons ended up playing baseball and I couldn't afford them all, it was really expensive and I was a single mom, something had to give, always the stuff I like best, but such is life and being a parent right?? Hope your day is a good one.

Our dojang was quite small and was mostly men, boys, a few girls (really young), and then me. So when my ds quit I just felt like it was the right thing to do since the other adults were men.
How long ago did you do Tae kwon do? Tang Soo do is kind of like TKD, but it revolves more around the "art" and not the "sport". TKD can get to be all about the "sport".

Twin, this is actually a good time for AF to show up. Reason being that if your weight is higher this week, you'll post a loss for next week when AF is gone. Yes, I'm devious like that--you should read my team's thread--Bella, Omega and I are terrible. :D

OH my gosh Twin you crack me up!! HAHAHAHA Yeah, I sure hope I'm lucky by starting this week, I actually went into my challenge thread today and updated my weight two pounds as it was up this morning, NO BIGGIE it was probably 177 yesterday too, but I put 175 as I thought that's where I was still, WRONG...... LOL LOL Oh well, I just want to post the facts so there it is. I ate super good so far this week, usually the weekends are my challenge days ONLY so I really have to be a good girl and try extra hard to take in no fatty snacks AT ALL! I'll do it, that's how bad I want to bust this challenge. I got my hair "did" cut last night, feels so much better, THANK GOSH it's been months since I had it layered and it was starting to look flat and without any umf! When my hair looks bad I feel bad, so it was time. I'm going to do my best to get to the lavender farm today, then over to my best girlfriends house for some girl talking time, she's had a lot on her plate lately and she needs someone to talk to, I'm sure this will call for about two glasses of Merlot! Don't worry my challenge buddies, I know how to eat right so the extra calories from the wine doesn't over me on the calories for the day. I'm back down to my 1200-1500 calories a day so I'm sure I'll do it! I've done it all week thus far with NO PROBLEM, so I know I can do it the next two days. Tomorrow my H and I are going to work in the garden, we now need to get certain items planted so they are to go. I'm hoping last weeks blast of artic air was the last for us here for the remainder of winter. UGGG it's pretty and sunshine out today, I think the highs will be in the upper 50's I'll take it!! without the wind it will feel great! Well, I better going, I have a lot to do. Love you all!!! OH YEAH, don't forget to turn forward your clocks tonight!!!

Actually it looks like your team are doing pretty well with the weight loss side of the challenge. The weight is just falling off Shannon at the minute - he posts every day on the weigh every day club. Maybe you do not need to be as devious as us.

Yeah, I love when the flowers start to bloom, AHHHH winter is so ugly around here, not much color. I'm really do my best in the eating, I'm determined to lose each week, whatever it takes.

Yeah tha'ts a lot Margaret, I just hope he's eating enough. I'm certainly not going to starve myself to lose weight, I love food to much to do that, plus I like to have energy to keep up with all the YOUNGINS in my kickboxing class. LOL LOL just joking of course, I love working out regardless!
 
I did real well this weekend, and I think I'm down weight already. I moved brush/limbs and other stuff from the yard yesterday, so my upper body is a little on the weary side today. LOL LOL My hubby cleaned out the raised boxes so we can start to plant our veggies now, or at least some of them like onions. When I got into the office this morning, one of the guys said to me, "Looking good Kim" wow your just dropping those pounds again arent' you?" well I think so, and I'm also toning up again so I think that is making me look smaller too. Either way, I WILL be down pounds this week, so I'm finally excited about weighing in, that hasn't happened in a LONG TIME. Tonight It's 1 hour body jam class, and 30 minutes of Circuit training. Aunt flo is just about gone! probably by tomorrow morning, as with me she only sticks around for three days, YEAH!! I can't keep my hands off my hubby lately and her visits always seem to come at the peek of my UMMMM how do I say this, horny time of the month. Young people who come into this diary BE AWARE! some items may be graphic. LMAO LMAO!! yeah right, go into my twins diary or miss Sugar booty and you will think mine is mild. LOL LOL Love ya twin you know it!! Well, this is my diary anyways and If I want to be funny or a little risqué so be it! LOL

In all seriousness here is my food for the day:

Breakfast: 2 packets of Oatmeal, nothing added 260 calories
2 6oz cups of java-50 calories

snack:
1 Light yogurt (strawberry) 130 calories

Lunch:
Progresso Chicken and Wild Rice- 200 calories

Water, water, water

Dinner: Salad (spring blend salad, spinach cut up, iceburg lettuce, Roma tomatoes, onion, sweet red bell pepper, cucumbers) 2tbsp fat free Italian dressing- I'll have to check calories and get back on this one
Slim Fast shake- Chocolate Royal- 180 calories
 
Morning Kim!!! I too am determined to force some of this weight off no matter what it takes. I am changing things up again and I hope it has an impact. Friday is my big weigh in after the new meds. I started taking it 2.5 weeks ago so I hope Scalena isn't in a bitchy mood. I feel like I'm thinner, but it may be toning since I am back to running hard and heavy. My slacks feel looser in the legs.

Your meal plan sounds yummo! How many calories are planning for each day?
 
You and Amy have probably hit quite lucky getting Shannon as an unknown quantity. He has even had two cups of cabbage. I am afraid that I am not contributing nearly so well towards my team (my weight hasnt gone down much for the past fortnight) - I suppose that is why we have to get devious.

Shannon lists his food in his diary. He seems to be eating fine (probably a lot healthier than most young lads who prepare their own food and deal with a student budget) - an occasional tendency to forget to eat lunch - but on the whole not too bad. He sticks solidly to healthy stuff and therefore manages to often come in on a calorie level that would be too low for me.

Having said that - I could not do what you do and do a full work out and finish with a slim-fast shake for dinner. Each one to their own - but I agree with someone (I cannot remember who or where) that said - for me - a slim-fast shake is a dessert not a meal. One would certainly not see me through lunchtime.

I forget to mention - I fancy the idea of your holiday plans. The picture looks lovely. I am hoping that hubby will take me to Rhodes this summer - but nothing is booked yet.

I'm trying to plan out 1200-1500 a day, I might throw in a fruit or some cheese later in the day, if I'm hungry, Trust me, I eat when I'm hungry and my only problem in the recent past was portions, I was eating good, just to much at a time, I needed to cut back in portion size. I"m sure you'll see loss this week, you work out so hard!!

Yeah Margaret, since I get home late from my workouts, I find it really hard to eat a full dinner, so I keep it light and load up on the salad and veggies and maybe some cheese and nuts, and a slim fast for the vitamins and extra calories, trust me, if I feel blah, I'll power up and eat, I'm not one to starve myself, I've just can't do that, I'm to in love with food. LOL LOL
 
Too funny about your "sex drive". How old are you anyway? I'm thinking you're the same age as me (and now I feel old!)

That's awesome that your co-workers are commenting on your progress.

Margaret is full of it when you talks about her lack of weight loss. She is just being modest. She may have one week a month with bad news, but the rest of the time she does just fine. There are still several days until weigh in, and I am confident that she'll be down from last week. As will you, my dear. Finally AF did you a favor...:biggrinjester: I'm sure your H hates the fact that you can't keep your hands off him...hehehe NOT!

You are so energized and focused. I'm sure you and Amy will have good news at weigh in time, and with Shannon on your team as well, I'll bet the MILF Battlers will kick some ass--just don't kick mine. :D

Actually, with Sheryl MIA, my diary's been pretty tame lately. I think she brings out my inner perv. ;) I really wish she and Claudia would come back. I dunno what's up with either of them, and I confess I'm concerned that something's wrong. :(

I'm not sure what happened to Sheryl, she's probably looking so smoking hot these days her hubby won't leave her alone for 5 minutes. LOL LOL

OH I guess it did look low didn't it, WOW trust me, I ate really well, last night I had a HUGE salad and add 1 oz of cheese to that and had 3 bites of this garden pizza my hubby had, so I'm most certain I hit my 1200-1300 last night, I also added in some milk too to drink last night, I LOVE MILK!
Don't you worry about me, I'll slip in those extra calories, never will I go below 1200 my body would be starving!! LOL LOL
 
WOOOOO EEEEE I had a really hard work out last night. My Body Jam class was great!! And circuit was really fun! My upper arms ache a little today, so I might have over did it a bit on the weights, but I should be fine!

Tonight it's 1 hour of Kick N Abs class, this class is really hard, but it works out my saddle bags, so I love it!! by the end of this class I can barely lift my legs. LOL LOL

Menu for the day:

Breakfast 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats-200 calories, 1 cup 1% milk-100 calories

snack:
Light Yogurt- 130 calories

Lunch:
fruit- 75 calories
Progresso Chicken Noodle- 2 cups- 180 Calories

Water, Water, Water

Afternoon Snack:
Slim Fast snack bars-100 calories

Dinner: Huge Garden Salad, with fat free italian dressing 1oz mixed cheese
Light Deli Turkey
Grapes

Not sure on the dinner calories, but it will get me to my 1200 mark for sure!
