Miss Ladybugs Diary

Oh good luck with that diagnosis Kim!! What a hard wait this must be.

Broken sleep or not we want our babies to stay with us don't we. View attachment 5625

As far as the food after exercise is concerned. I do feel hungry afterwards - just not the same way as I do before hand. It doesnt' seem urgent any more and I'm more easily satisfied I suppose. Also, when I exercise in the evenings I prepare food first, then exercise, then eat. I hate to come home and after still get the food ready!!

I hope all is well with Squeege.

Thanks so much Feli!! I hope so too. I've been eating turkey with Mustard and a slice of cheese when I get home, I'm craving it, at least I'm not craving pasta or junk food. LOL LOL

Kim I hope squeege will be okay!
I would be bawling my eyes out if I was in your situation. I always think in the worst case scenario. Which may not be the best way to look at things but it usually means that the news is better not worse.
Keep us posted.
:grouphug:

Oh wow Kim, I really hope your H's dog is okay. Sean has a long haired German Shepherd that is 13 years old and he's gonna fall apart when he dies. It's so easy to get attached to such lovable animals.

Hi sweetie.

Gosh, you know how ZuZu is my daughter and not an animal, ;) I hope everything will be ok with y'alls doggie. :hug2:

*Hang in there!*

RE: Potty Time:

Have you guys tried to train inside as well w/potty pads?

ZuZu is trained inside and out.

We decided to do that bc of bad weather days - if we were gone for a long time (like when we go fishin' / We're gone for 5-7 hours), etc..

I hope you'll have a Great Wed. w/Good News!

<3 Ya!

Well, we got the word back that the blood does not seem to contain anything looking like cancer cells, they said it may just be a serious infection causing inflammation, so they gave my H two options, they could biopsy one of the areas inflamed, or just start him on antibiotics/Prednisone for 10 days and see how that works first, and so that's what my H decided to do. I sure do hope that's all it is, because I just can't take this kind of stuff.

I'm mentally exhausted, how in the world does that happen. LOL LOL I'm still going to my class, I LOVE THIS CLASS! And then home to see the puppy.

And Mrs Tx Poo, My puppy has never been potty pad trained, he only goes outside, and he's really, really good at it, I think in the 5 years I have had him, he's only had maybe 5 accidents and nothing serious, he's such a good baby, I think he just wants to go outside not just to potty, but to investigate what's going on, sometimes I wish I had a doggie door, but then my cat would escape and I don't want her out there, she would be towed up from the floor up, since she's never been outside. I guess it's just the life I have to deal with being a pet owner. Hey, it's not forever, once they are gone, THAT'S it, I'm not getting anymore, I don't know how they all became my responsibility to begin with, as my sons brought home all of them. You know lost dog/ lost cat found by child, yeah been there done that. I'm THROUGH!!!
LOL LOL LMAO!

:waving: Kim
I am so relieved for you that Squeege does not have cancer! You must feel pretty drained after going through that hard wait. Hope they can get him on some meds that'll make him right as rain soon enough!

Just wanted to cheer you on and cheer you up, girlfriend.

Hahaha, you sound like my mom-that's exactly what she says. My parents swore up and down we'd never have any pets. Now we have three cats and a dog. :smilielol5:

But pets are good for you, though. They lower blood pressure, anyway.

Well...usually. :D

Aww...Twin, I'm so glad Squeege is ok!! You know I love my animals, and my heart goes out to ya. I hope the antibiotics do the trick, and the poor little guy feels better soon. :)

I hope you enjoyed your time at the gym tonight. I took the day off. :D

Also, good job not eating comfort food earlier when you were so worried about the doggie. :)

good to hear you got a decent nights sleep there and your h is doing ok.

hope you have a good day

;-)

Thanksg Angel!! Yeah, I slept pretty good last night too, that's when you end up having those WACKED out dreams, and I won't say what mine was about, but you can bet it was pretty strange. LOL LOL Thanks for stopping by and giving me a hand up!! HUGS Kim

Hey Maverick!! Welcome to my diary, it's been crazy around here these days, but I'm not going to complain. I love all our animals, and we have a whole lot of them. We live in the country so some how we aquired a few extra. HAHAHAHAH That's okay, I just wish I could take in more to be honest, but they are so expensive and we spend a lot of time away from home due to work schedules and extra stuff, I'm sure you know all about that. I'll have to pop over to your diary and see what you have been up to. Thanks again for stopping by I sure do appreciate it!

Ahhhhhh thanks Twin for being so supportive and thinking of me. It was a rough day yesterday, but I kept a positive attitude as I always try to do and well it seems like he's doing ten times better today. He's a bit more chipper today and his tail is wagging more, so that's good news. Also his swelling seems to be going down a bit and he tooks his meds okay this morning also. YEAH!! The gym workout was really good last night, it's my favorite class, so I try to never miss that day. Tonight I'm going but I think I'll just run a bit and do circut, I'm a little drained. Ugg!

Well, it's been an eventful week to say the least, I've spent every day at the gym so far, and I'm going again tonight. I'll probably run a few miles and then do some circuit training for my upper body workout. Seems the scale is messing with me a bit, it's going up, down, up, down, so hard to say where it will sit tomorrow at weigh in. I know Aunt Flo is coming for a visit soon, so maybe that's what's going on. With all the working out, there is no way in HEL... I could be putting on any weight, I'm just not eating that much in calories, there is no way on that part. My body is a friggen amusement park ride, it some times gets stuck at the top, but when it starts to go down it just goes WHOOSH!!! Sometimes it's scares me to death, and sometimes I think what a waste of time, but all in all at least it's still in full swing, so I'll take what it gives me for now.

My puppy is feeling a bit better today, seems the medicine is taking hold and starting to work, YEA! I was really worried we were trying to hold onto something that was not going to work, but I'm so happy we gave the meds a shot, maybe it is just a serious infection and he got all swollen by it. I'm just happy he's feeling better and happy. I am concerned however that the last few days he doesn't want to eat his food. He will eat his biscuits and treats, he just doesn't want to eat his dry dog food, what's up with that???? Anybody have any ideas?? He's been eating this for the past 5 years and always loved it, until recently. OIY!!!! I think I'll pick him up some wet food to mix in with his dry and see if he likes that, I'm willing to try anything right now, he's worth it!! AHHHHHH

You know this is kind of funny, I think I may have lost an inch in my waist the past week, as this long length skirt I have feels like it's sliding down my hips I have to keep pulling it up, WOW now that would be a nice surprise, I'll measure tomorrow and see. I hope so!!!

Today Menu:
Breakfast: 1 1/2 C Mini Wheats 1 C 1% milk
Lunch: Grilled Chicken, peppers, onions and 2 small flour tortilla
Snack: slim fast bar
Dinner: Not sure, I took out chicken fried steak for my family, but I don't eat it, so I'll probably end up making some steam veggies and turkey.

WATER, WATER and coffee for now. LOL LOL

LOVE AND HUGS!
Kim

I am so happy to hear that Squeege is gonna be okay.
I have always said that when the time comes for Harley (our 9yr yellow lab) to go that we will just have to do it. But I know deep down that I won't handle it so well.
For the most part that is why I lobbied so hard to get the new pup (chocolate lab named Snickers). That way it won't be so hard on us when the time comes for Harley.
Glad to hear that you had a good night at the gym.
I too took the night off (at least from my elliptical) just like BB. I did still get to my PowerCore class. I always feel so much better after class. More energy and such.
Well I gotta run.
I am the "official" photographer for our Upward Basketball League at the church and I need to be getting all my order forms and things in line.
Chat at ya later!

Thanks Bell!!! I'm sure your photos are going to be awesome, you are amazing with the camera, now that's what you should be doing to make money. I love my animals, they are all unique and truly special to us. Here are thier names:

Female dog: Nala
Female dog: Saint
Female dog: Paige
Male dog: Squeege
Male dog: Buddy

Female cat: Little Miss or we also call her Missy
Male cat: Willow

That's it, and of course a TON of birds that swarm my feeders, about 50 squirrels that drive me insane and the neighbors Ginny Hens that never stay in their own yard. LOL LOL LOL

Oh and a partridge in a pear tree. LOL LMAO!!!

Maybe we should rename you Miss DooLittle instead of Miss Ladybug! :smilielol5:
I would so love to take pics for a living but it is extremely hard to get into the business as well as expensive.
Maybe some day. For now I will just use my talents for church, family and friends.

Hey there! I wanted to stop by and tell you thank you for your support. It's been amazing to have people stand behind you and give you that kick you need. I'll be here to do the same for you. Hope all is going well and your new year is going the way it should. Talk to you soon.

1. Hello wonderful. :)

2. So glad the dog is okay!

3. Glad to hear you are kicking ass in the gym!

Hi Kim!

Glad to hear it was not horrible news on Squeege...poor guy. I hope the meds help him and he is back to his old self.

We have two cats, Missy and Cleo and one dog, a girl, Kona, who just turned two...and she is our baby. She knows it too! ;-) She is spoiled. An 80 pound lap dog is what she is. LOL!

Good work on staying on track despite the stress! You go! Good luck on your measurements tomorrow...I know you will be smaller! :)

hey good job with the workouts! you have done amazing...everyday!!!

good to hear the dogs ok...i hate animals not being well!

good luck with those measurements and weigh in tomorrow. i'm sure you'll be fine!

;-)

x

ps. i wonder what that dream was all about ;)

5 dogs and two cats! I'll bet there's never a dull moment around your house! And I thought we had too many pets when we had 4 cats...lol. That must be expensive feeding them all.

I'm glad Squeege is doing better today. :hurray:

I hope my former Grinch has lost an inch! :D

Good luck with the weigh-in tomorrow. You can use today's too, if you weighed yourself today. I can't imagine that you'd be up unless the :reddevil: is responsible. :ack2:

Hugs, kisses and soapy boobies. :cheers2:

:waving:
Howdee MissLB- I had no idea you had a kennel. :smilielol5:
I'm an animal lover myself and know how scary it can be when the health of a furr kid is in question. I'm glad things worked out.

Seems the scale is messing with me a bit, it's going up, down, up, down, so hard to say where it will sit tomorrow at weigh in.

I know what ya mean there. This week has been crazy- I prob should not step on the scale more than once a week cuz it can make me nutz.

Good Luck with the WI tomorrow!
