Well done for not putting on weight over the holidays. Also - the meal out with your hubby sounds lovely. We should all take time to make these memories - as you get older and longer married it is all too easy to not get around to these things too often.

You and Stacy put me to shame with your housework - I get really behind on these things nowadays. I am a :piggy: - and just keep putting things off.

I am terrible with chocolate - I couldnt cope with it all over my house. I am useless at dealing with it. If I got given a box of 24 chocolates I would have to give the unopened box away. If I opened it - I would need to eat the whole box in one sitting. There is no way that I could eat 1 a day like wishes. Well done for coping with all that chocolate.

dont worry, ive been having serious problems with my chocolate lately. Managed to at 3-4 a day so far and cravings are driving me up the wall. Usually im good but strugglng this time :)
 
I just wanted to say that you are doing really well Wishes if you are limiting yourself to 3 or 4 chocolates a day when you have an open box. I am pretty sure that I couldnt do that. I really wish you luck but I know my limitations.

I remember that feeling. Perhaps if I'd had a bit more of that and a bit less holiday lately I'd also be feeling as energized as you seem to have been.

It sounds to me like you have pwned these holidays!! Good for you!

Hey I think your energy must stay here in your posts. I reckon it zapped me as I came through today. I finally got some more substantial exercise done. And I kept thinking of you saying you work your butt off, because I walked a bit further than mine was ready for and I swear it was begging to be gone!

Anyway, I wanted to say thanks for all the support this year. Have a blast tonight, and a wonderful, successful 2008!!

Hope the New Year started out well for you weather wise.
Seems like the 2 of us keep getting all the brunt of the snow.
It can go away anytime now. I am so sick of it already. Though I did tell the kids that I would play out in the snow with them later today. But after that it can all just melt!

HEY EVERYONE!!! thanks for stopping by and wishing me well in 2008, you guys ROCK!!

I had a wonderful New Years with my H and my family. We went to the hockey game and darn it, we lost in a shoot out, but that's okay, we still get points if you lose in a shoot out, so that will work.
After the game we went to my sisters house and rang in the New Year with her family too. It was GREAT! The H and I got up the next day and went to a movie. We saw I am Legend. It was GREAT in my opinion. I love Will Smith. I cried in it too, LOL LOL what's new I cry during friggen Hallmark commercials for crying out loud.

I weighed in on Monday and I haven't gained a pound all month, so I'm really excited about that, because I'm going to be honest with you I ate like a pig the past week, and chocolate too. BUT...... it's back to the gym I go, tonight I have my one hour of group jam and I'm really excited about it.

Here is my list of food for today:

Breakfast:
Oatmeal: 230 calories
Coffee: 2 cups plus a few teaspoons of sugar roughly 80 calories

Lunch:
Light Italian-Style vegetable soup
2 servings: 120 Calories

snack: yogurt

Dinner:
Shaved turkey breast on wheat bread, lettuce tomato and mustard,mmmmm

roughly 450 calories:

late snack: ??? roughly 350-400 calories

Gym workout tonight 400 calories burned

TOTAL meal Calories: 1370 calories

I'll try to add a little more in on my snack to get up to 1500-1600 calories for the day.

OH YEAH LOTS OF WATER!!
