Well congrats on the new weight! No need to wait til Sat for it to count (except for the challenge of course), if its a new low you haven't seen in years then its a WL no matter how you slice it. How awesome! I was just commiserating with you about your mine and Amy's scale woes when I read the post about the loss. I am so happy because I personally know how hard fought that loss was. Good for you sweetie :). Happy Thanksgiving if I dont catch up with you manana. Luv ya girl :).

Thanks Cita & Twin!!! I am pretty stoked about the pounds finally going down and staying there as I popped on the scale this morning to make sure I wasn't hallucinating on Monday. LOL LOL it's all good!! I'm not going to have much time to post between now and Saturday, so thought I would put down my workout for last night.

I tried to work it hard as I knew I wouldn't be going today or tomorrow.

12 minute warm up on the retro climber, or whatever that damn machine is that you see on the commercials where they say it's like walking in the sand. we have some of those at our gym, but I don't usually care for them, but since it's upstairs near the area where I do my circuit training, I decided to use it.

After the retro climber, I did my 30 minute circuit class, I was pretty soaked after that, but felt like I still needed some good cardio, so I went back downstairs and hopped on the Stair Master, I did that for a level of 15 minutes and went about 1 mile and burned over 150 calories, still I wasn't finished I wanted more, so I got off that and walked over to the Arc Trainer, I put it on level 5 at the "weight Loss" routine and busted it for 45 minutes, HOLY SMOKES!!! It said I burned close to 600 calories, I went over 2.5 miles and I was WHIPPED!! plus my shirt was completely drenched from top to bottom, it was NASTY!! But, I felt great!!! I feel I earned a good day of Thanksgiving eating. LOL LOL

Tonight is a hockey game, not sure if I'll go or not, depends on how I feel after I head to the grocery store and get home, I'm leaving work early today probably 2-3, YEAH!!!!! I'm so ready for some time off you have no idea!!

Thursday, EAT, EAT, Play some cards, watch some boob tube and enjoy the day!!!

Friday, MAYBE I'll get up early and do some door buster shopping with my sister, but you all know me, it just depends on how I feel when I get up, so I'll just say maybe on this one!! PLUS, there is another Hockey game this night and I really want to go to that one!! :party:

Saturday, well it's supposed to uuuuummmmm "snow" here, yeah I said snow, but it won't stick as the roads are to warm and the day time is supposed to warm up into the 40's so you know how that works. I'll probably burn some wood in the woodburing stove tonight and the rest of the week, I love doing that it's so romantic and it's so pretty how it illuminates the living room at night. Plus it has a serious blower on it and it heats up the entire house, WOW!!! I need to get home and make my Apple and Pumpkin Pie's tonight and maybe something else, not sure.

I hope you ALL have a wonderful THANKSGIVING!!!! and enjoy your time with the family. I'll be on Saturday to post my loss. OH YEAH!!!!!!!! finally a week I'm excited to weigh in on, that's been awhile. LUB YA ALL!

What sort of circuit is it, if you don't mind me asking? Steve gave me shit for saying I liked circuits for weight loss when I first joined here, so I just want to get a feel for what you're doing... BOOYEAH steve... booyeah...

Basically we are set up in this HUGE ROOM at my gym full of different weight training machines, for example there is one in there that works the triceps and biceps, an another that you stand under this deal and pull the weight down for squats. There is one that you sit in and cris-cross the straps and pull forward to work the abs, and another that is a bar you pull down to work your upper back muscles, and sheesh there are about 12 different machines, 4 of them work the leg muscles and the rest are upper body machines. For 30 seconds you do one machine as hard and fast as you can it's all based on resistance, then after the 30 seconds you go onto the next which is not a machine but a cardio workout of some sort usually a STEP to do 30 second up and down on that, then a machine, then a step, then a machine, does that make sense??? I know Steve doesn't care for the circuit training, but I know since I started doing that, I've lost inches in my upper body, my arms are firmer and my back is looking pretty darn good! I do use the STEVE O work out system he put in place for me also, which is squats and lunges and other stuff, but I love the circuit training a lot more. LOL LOL

My favorite part of 'em is like what you said when you were first talking about your workout. You walk out, and your shirt is SOAKED. You walk out and KNOW that you've had a badass workout.

Also, I like that they mix the cardio machines in with the weight lifting machines. It is not the best setup for the promotion of muscle growth, but it definately helps keep your heartrate up.

Yeah, it's nice to change up the weight machines with a break of cardio. It works really good for me, and I know I'm getting something out of it, so my theory is, do what works for YOU!!! that's the only way to stick with a workout plan and the only way to enjoy it at the same time. And on the SOAKED issue, that's me just about every time I'm at the gym, I feel like one of the guys, and I'm sure the guys must think, DAMN that girl is nasty. LOL LOL But, screw them all, at least this girl is busting ass and doing something about it!! And that's my 2 CENTS. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving James!!!

Man your like a machine or something. I am still at the point where I can lose weight by cutting calories. But soon enough I will have to be working it just as hard as you are. ;)

Wow. You really are working it at the gym! I wish I didn't live in the middle of nowhere so I could join a gym. I am always encouraged by your fervor for the gym. Keep up the great work, girl. Happy Thanksgiving.

Just called by to wish you an enjoyable holiday. I hope that you have lots of fun with your three men.

I am so pleased to hear that the scales are seeing sense and giving you the result that you deserve at last. The main thing is the inches - but it is nice when the scales move a bit too.

Rest assured that in future weeks - whether the scales move then or not - you will be a major asset to any team in the challenge. No-one can try harder than their very hardest - and you certainly do that every week at the gym.

I hear some women are capable of gnawing your hand off if you grab something they were eyeing a few hundred yards away and called dibs on in their own minds. I am about to go to the gym and kick my own ass. It should be pretty empty this morning. Enjoy your weekend and try not to bitch slap someone while shopping!
