LMAO!!! we do to, hey that's what keeps our relationship FRESH!!! we laugh EVERY SINGLE day, and we don't take anything seriously! We have some pet names, but I won't post them on here, LOL LOL I will say on occasion, I call him POO-NUT! and it's an inside joke, but he might say WHAT Stink weed! LOL LOL It's really all in fun and like I said, it cracks us up!!!!

That's GREAT!

Same w/us... We've been married 14 years {been together 16 total} and we still act like when we first started dating..

There really IS such thing as Finding your Soul-Mate

:)

AMEN SISTER to that statement, I know I have!!! And to all you single women out there that might stop by today and read this, YOU TOO, can find your SOUL MATE!! when your not looking for him of course!

Girlfriend, I did live in UPSTATE NY for about 10 years remember?? That's where my twins were born, NORTH COUNTRY BABY!! I remember getting into my garage in the morning and it being 20 below zero, and my NOSE HAIRS sticking together, now that is FRIGID!!!!!!!! I'm sure you must see that every now and again?? BEEN THERE, DONE THAT, AND HAVE THE TSHIRT. I'm DONE!!!!

Then what are you whining about "cold" weather for? lmao. At least you had a garage. I'm stuck cleaning 6 inches of snow off my car in the morning while trying to keep my nipples from getting frostbit..lol

Last winter we had a blizzard with drifting snow--well, we had a few, but this one in particular..lol. By the time my H got home from his friend's house, we had about 2.5 feet of snow in the driveway. The guy we pay to plow it didn't come around. So H's car got stuck in the driveway, and here he and I were shoveling snow and pouring kitty litter (for traction), and taking turns pushing his damn car. I think we were out there for about 45minutes, covered in snow b/c it went up to our knees, before we finally got it unstuck. Then the next morning the plow guy still hadn't come, so H had to shovel most of the driveway (which is about 100ft long and 15ft wide) again b/c of the snow and drifting that occurred overnight, plus the turnaround where we park our cars, just so we could get out. Needless to say, we will have a different plow guy this year! But ya know what? I'll take blizzards over wild fires any day. :)

Isn't that the truth!! But I've been there and done that too!! Are friggen driveway was uphill, it was so damn funny backing out when you have 6ft snow banks on both sides and you just pray you don't slam into someone coming down the road, we had to have these HUGE cutters come down our roads just to CUT BACK the snow banks since they got so damn high, it SUCKED! and yes, I had to get out EVERY MORNING at 6:00 am to shovel my drive so our daycare parents could drop off their kids, I used to run a DAYCARE CENTER in town and well, that was fun!!

Let's just say when you have two 1 yr olds, you want to work, but you don't want to pay someone else to watch your kids all day, I would have ended up working just to pay daycare each week, so I thought to myself, hmmmm what would make sense right now work wise, and WELLA!! daycare came into mind, that way I could be with my boys everyday, make a living and like what I DO, I rented a large building in town, got certified with the state of NY called it "Toddlers Turf" and wella, a business was born, I went to trainings and classes every month, it was required there, and i had a Preschool program I did with the older ones, I had a partner, it was really a great time, and I did it for about 6 years, then the boys were in school full time, and well I moved away and got back into what I do best, INVESTMENTS! ahahaha funny switch right. This is my story!! Oh by the way, before my boys I did insurance/investments so I just got back into what i started before. :rotflmao:

smart lady! I envy you business types....but I DO enjoy the wine industry and I DO hope that my desire to train will get me somewhere. Wine and exercise, not a bad combo! Two things I love! Geez that first sip of wine after none for over 2 weeks is sure gonna be harsh....then wonderful!

Hi Ms. LB! Thought I'd pop on over here since you pop into mine once in awhile.

:)

My mom ran a licensed daycare out of her home for about 32yrs. She started for the same reasons you did--wanted to stay home with me and still make some $$. It's a great biz if the kiddies don't drive you insane! lol

So my H came home from work, poured himself a glass of cabernet sauvignon and said, "Aaah....what a civilized drink." I thought you and Val would appreciate that. :rotflmao:

OH YEAH!! He's right that is most awesome!! And truthfully I could have went for one myself. LOL LOL A man who drinks wine, WOW he's a keeper! :)

You all know when I pour myself into the gym I usually put in 110%, last night I think I put in 95%, I was a little tired for some reason. I enjoyed the class, I did sweat, but I wasn't DRENCHED like I usually am when I leave. Maybe that's a sign that it's time for me to take a week off again, I will start with today, since I have that Pampered Chef party to go to anyways, and well I don't go on Friday's because that's my off day. Let's see if it helps with 4 days off. I ate a lot for dinner last night, I don't know what came over me, I was famished!! I had 4 small baked potatoes. LOL LOL and some grilled Chicken, and some pasta/veggie blend that we steamed. I guess I was craving carbs in a big way, I'm just amazed two small didn't do it for me. :eek2: Oh well, I'll just continue to eat really good today as I already had my bowl of mini wheats and 1% milk, and I made me a PBJ mmm, I didn't use Strawberry/lavender jam today, instead I used 2 tsp of grape jam 100 calories, wanted to switch it up a bit. I should be roughly around 800-900 calories for the day, that way I can enjoy my meals tonight at the party. No alcohol involved don't worry, so I won't have any empty calories. hehehehe

My H cracked my ass up last night, before I lost this 25 lbs I had what we all call that dreaded 2nd chin, it's the first place I put on weight any time!! Well, we call it here in my house, a GOOZLE, and well last night he pinched under my chin, and it hurt like hell, I whimpered a bit and said ouch what did you do that for?? And he replied, well crap, it's almost gone now and there is hardly anything to grab down there, so I think I'm now pulling just skin. LOL LOL I said, WELL let's just grab somewhere else for a change, as it's now not funny because it hurts!!! We both laughed a bit, and well I'm quite happy that he noticed it's just about gone, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATED that damn thing. He proceeded to slap my butt about 3 times, OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure I have several blisters there today. or a nice big hand print. LOL LOL

Well, I have a LOT of work to do, so I better get busy. It's gorgeous outside with these blue skies, and hardly any wind. :) It's going to be in the MID 60's, I'll take it!!! HUGS TO YOU ALL!!
Kim

I'm going to side with Sugar Booty when it comes to snow in upstate NY, Kimberly. Last winter, I spent the holidays up in the Tug Fackin' Mountains and no shit, the snow was up to my waist. I went to the in-laws barn to find Rebel, the German Shepard, and suddenly I see the beagle tearing ass out of the bar, screaming like a banshee. Mind you, I trecked a good 20 ft from the house. Suddenly this huge ass skunk comes running out, hissing, so I try to turn the other way to run.... and I'm falling and yelling, b/c the bastard is running after me. This bastard was hydroplaning it across the snow, while my fat ass was flopping around like a seal. My father in law shot it. (b/c sprayed the beagle and was eating all the barn cat's food throughout winter.) Scariest damn day of my first NY winter.

Oh and Kim, as for the double chin. I think it's a Portuguese thing, because my mum is 1/2 Portuguese and she's always bitching about it. HAHAAAA!! I had one too.... good times. Love you, beauty!

LMAO!! Oh my gosh, that's the funniest thing I've heard in weeks. Thank gosh you didn't get sprayed!! NASTY ASS BASTARDS!! we have a lot of skunks out near our property now, and I worry about my little dog who wonders off sometimes, if he comes back skunked, he's out for the whole day!! And granted he's an indoor pooch. LOL I don't miss the snow in NY, but I truly to miss the changing of the seasons, it's the most beautiful thing ever there!!

YEAH, thank gosh my twin chin is just about BYE BYE!! I hate that damn thing. It is cute when the H's same something sweet out of the blue, it really makes my day!! That reminded me the other night me and the H were laying in bed, I was sitting up and he was laying across my legs and I was scratching his back, he out of the blue said "I love you baby" and I was like, okay and........... AHAHAHAHAHA he said, and what?? I just love you and that's that. I was like ummmmm, that was unexpected, it was the first time that he said it and caught me off guard. Don't get me wrong we tell eachother that several times a day, but usually it's ending a phone conversation, or when he's leaving for work, or you know normal times, well this was not one of those times and it really was a nice thing to say. AHHHHHHH OKAY, OKAY I'll shut up now, crap I sound like a damn DRAMA soap opera. LOL LOL enough, I'm done now!!

Well, my boss just left for lunch and told me he would bring me something back, I sure hope it's not loaded in calories, YIKES!! he's usually really, good as he knows I really watch what I eat, so I'll post what he brings back in about 30 minutes. I'm starving, so I hope he doesn't screw around and take forever, LOL LOL

That is sweet!

I love it when hubby is like that as well.. :)

Hey Boss...Hurry up and feed Sneaker-Poo!

:D

Hope it's yummy and good 4 ya! ;)

Oh, I would've laughed my ass off if that skunk had gotten ya, Sheryl..lmao. I think I told you about my close enounter with a skunk this past summer.

I have to agree with you both in that it probably doesn get colder in upstate NY. We have the Great Lakes surrounding us, so it makes it a bit milder in winter. However, we get tons of lake effect snow dumped on us--so snow-wise, it's probably even. But if you go up to the upper peninsula, especially up to the Keewenaw Peninsula, you'll find temps frigid up there--and the snow is incredible. They frequently get over 300 inches of snow a winter. You'll sometimes see raised pathways from the house door to keep down on snow shoveling. They get squalls from Lake Superior that dump major snow.

Congrats on your double chin shrinking away! Mine's slowly going, too. Your H sounds like a trip..lol. I wish mine would say those 3 little words more often. We never say them on the phone or when we leave. H doesn't like it. And I figure if he won't say them to me, I'm not gonna say it to him. So is he still a keeper? lol

Kim, i'm not surpriesed you were ravenous when you got home. You work out so hard, and then sometimes skip dinner. Your body needs fuel--so the ravenous hunger is its way of telling you to eat more.:)
