hehe catching up on your diary. Lol @ your friend and the cabin stuff. Been there done that, sometimes its just easier to go your own way eh.

Dont worry so much about the weight - use clothes and measurements. Now ive heard that many a time earlier on whilst dieting but thought it was a myth because i lost regular. However for the last couple months ive lost only 5lb. However i can SEE the difference and everyone has commented on it. The clothes are not fitting like they were, and the muscle is really becomming defined.
Ive been putting more into the weights and less into the cycling so putting on muscle weight. Its wicked anyway.
 
Oh heck yea...:) It just makes me feel bad that you're doing this fabulous job with signs of success all around you - but feeling less than successful because of it.....of course you can always mail the darn thing to me and once a week I'll promise to post: "Kim, today your scale says 145....today it says 144":)

I wasn't knocking you, Cym! Kim: I merely meant that, gripe about the scale, all you want!!! But expect us to cheer you up. Just don't feel bad about griping, that's all :)

Wishes is right--listen to her. Her last avatar was amazing--it showed her body at first and then currently, and you could tell a giant difference and how she must be muscular and such. And me and Cym went through a similar deal of weight vs. body fat. My lament is that I have gained body fat back :( But that's fine, it is OK to be at a decent body fat for your sex. No one has to be skinny. Even if they wanted it, once.

Kim, you do know how to to tell a story so colorfully. That is really rude and manipulative about your friend, seems like she's trying to get you to stay in town by deciding that's where they're staying. Well you'll show her when you stay where its relaxing and pretty near the water. That is just ridiculous that they couldn't just go with the flow for YOUR anniversary.

I too wore baggy pants and hideous tops for months on end. It royally sucked but I didn't feel like spending loads of money on clothes that wouldn't fit for long because I didn't WANT to fit in them for long. It was just a mental block I had with buying clothes in whatever size they would've been (I have no idea since I didn't dare check) so I walked around with the belt buckle on the last loop (I even had 2 extra holes punched in) for months looking like shiat.

If I may ask, what's your daily calorie level now (as you mentioned you may need to hunker down more on the food I was curious). I dont think you count your cals but maybe you could do it for 2 or 3 days just to get an idea of what's going on. We could probably help you a bit from our own experiences if we knew more detail.
 
You all can use that MOTTO, "Greet it and send it away" any time you wish!! It works and it's true. Why carry unneccesary crap around with you all the time, it won't help anyways. :)

Sara: You are so right, it's all about how the clothes fit right now and luckily I'm totally happy with that part of my life. I might just be one of the weird cases, where I lose ton of inches and then can post my story for others, that if you stick with it, a few months later the weight WILL follow, it has to, if your getting smaller, eventually so will the scales. :)

Cita: I DO count calories, I count everyday or at least I try to watch what I eat, because I know what the calories are for the items I eat pretty regular. I usually have a small 1C bowl of cheerios or mini wheats in the morning, with 1C 1% milk, this is a 300 calorie meal. Then lunch it's usually a slim fast shake 190 calories, or a PBJ 350 calories or a smart one weight watcher meal 350 calories, OR a bowl of soup, 200 calories, Or my two packets of oatmeal, 300 calories. I drink tons of water, and usually have either a fruit, (apple, orange, nectarine or peach) snack or a (cucumber, yogurt or mini rice cake for snack) either way my snacks never go over 100 calories, I work out EVERY DAY and burn close to 600 calories OR more at the gym, then go home and eat either a big Green salad, black beans, grilled chicken, maybe 1oz of some type of cheese, maybe tortilla or maybe like lastnight a turkey sandwhich and some soup. My dinners NEVER go over 600 calories. So I usually allow myself 300 for breakfast, 350 for lunch 200in snacks and another 600 for dinner, TOTAL: 1400-1600 every day, sometimes a smidge more if I spurge on a few dinner crackers or peanuts at night. Isn't that good enough????

I dont really think it is enough when you are burning like 600 cals a night at the gym...
 
Cinder, I could have spun the wheel last night, but I wanted to wait for my girlfriend to be there with me, we have done this together, so I wanted to have her there to give me some energy. I'll wait for her, maybe TONIGHT! :) Last night I was at the gym without my girlfriends, that's okay, it seems they have been slacking off the last few weeks, but not me!! NOPE I go every day except for Saturday and Sunday. Last night I biked 8 miles, in 34 minutes, it said my average speed was 14.5 miles, and it said I burned about 580 calories, not bad!! I did my 1 Hour of Group Groove, it was so much fun, now that I'm starting to catch onto the new tracks, THANK GOSH! I have a lot to do the next few days, so I might not have time to get on an post as much, so I apologize right now for that, but I WILL try, I promise! Have some personal issues to tend to and my work load here at my job has been pretty intense, but GOOD!! :) I love what I do and where I work. I'm starting to look in the mirror more at myself now, so that's a HUGE accomplishment for me, because before I would avoid the mirror like the plague. My legs are getting so toned and my shoulders are finally starting to shrink and not make me look so boxy anymore. I finally see definition in my rib cage area, and I can certainly pinch less now and that makes me feel so much better. BUt... it is official, my once decent ass is almost gone. LMAO So, I'm going to need to work the butt muscles more, so at least I can lift what's left. LOL LOL I'm trying to see the positive side of everything now, and thanks to you all, I'm feeling damn better about it too. Thanks everybody, I don't know what I would do without all your support. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Maybe I should increase another few hundred calories, I've become a freak about calories and eating good, I get parnoid when I think I've had a bad day, which means I would have eaten 2000 calories or so. Maybe, that's my problem, I'm not eating enough. I will be willing to try that for a week. I would die if the scale went up! !LOL LOL that would be my luck, but hey, I'm game for anything, really I am!!!

I think you should try it...I really do - when I first tried it I was the same as you but then I started seeing results - you work out so hard your bod is prob just holdin on for dear life!!!

LOL, your probably right, it might think I'm putting it in starvation mode! But what about the weekends, when I don't workout and I usually eat a little more, actually I ALWAYS eat more on the weekends, because I go out to breakfast with my hubby most Saturdays and sometimes out for dinner too. Wouldn't you think that would counter balance it out?? YI-YI-YI, why are the bodies so damn complicated!! Why can't it be easy like when I was 20 and I burned calories by sitting on the toilet for heavens sake! Getting old SUCKS!

No worries - I cant accept them either - Ive just learnt to say thank you adn keep my questions of why to myself - hee hee hee...like I totally dont understand why I recieve so much support here nad why I am liked...and I have a few friends that always tell me how great I am and such and that I am an awesome friend and I dont get it...I think she gives me way to much credit...I just dont question things - I accept them as they are:D:D:DOh and you dont sound liek an idiot - when I was dealign with all my crap - cannon and slimmom - made my eyes well with tears...

I dont think that makes much diff they say as long as you are good 80% of the time, right and htat you most definately are and oyu work out so much throough out the week you dont need to worry abt hte weekend...I usually eat more on the weekends as well...prob just chalk them up as maintance days - I dunno wmn - I would just like to see you have some higher cals that might help...just eat higher cal snacks or have sammies for lunch...with higher carb bread...
 
I will, I'll try to add more food into my afternoons and see if that helps jump start my body again!!. You never know, until you try!!

I'm sorry for you!!!!!! DO lots of weight training stuff for you buns, like deadlifts and squats and hamstring curls and you can build up your ass in no time!! Ask Cym and Steve, they'll help you! My own ass is huge for my body--well no but it seems like it sometimes, heh heh.
